Alsace Lorraine were under Reich rule from 1870 till 1918 (48 years) ,taken back after Versaille treaty ,then annexed during the WW2 (5 years).so this region had been German for 53 years which is a long period ! and the impact is still (some towns names ,Dialect in Alsace ,Family names) even the life and buildings style are still different from other Fr regions !

Les Algériens n'étaient pas privés systématiquement d'éducation pendant la periode coloniale.
Les Algériens en 1944 n'ont pas libéré la métropole "à la place des Français", mais AVEC eux. Au total, les combattants "Européens" étaient plus nombreux que les "Africains". Evidemment, tous méritent honneur et gloire, ainsi ils ont tous défilé à Paris le 14 juillet 1945.

Je vais me faire l'avocat du diable, mais n'oublions pas que l'Algérie n'était pas un pays quand les troupes de Napoléon ont apporté l'industrie (et l'exploitation de l'Homme, certes.) mais il n'y'a ni gentils, ni méchants dans l'histoire.

Justement, il n'y'a pas eu Invasion anti-nationale, puisqu'il n'y'avait pas de pays, mais juste une province déjà occupée par les Turcs.
Donc a terme il y'aurait quand meme eu un mouvement de "libération" sans les Français. (mais pas le FLN non, puisque ses chefs étaient tous des diplomés d'écoles françaises. mais plutot autre chose avec des chefs diplomés de Turquie ou des Etats Unis)
