I had the 30GB Zune and sold it after a year for like 90 bucks, it would sometimes reset on its own and other problems, then with that money i bought an iPod :)

customizable backgrounds, touch d-pad, actually good games that come with the zune, bigger screen, and better audio quality (All of these are facts, most games with the iPod suck, but hexic was really fun)

The first one is a newer version of the one he is talking about, the 2g is about the size off the nano but has a tiny screen and is shiny and the 3g one has a aluminum body and besides that is the same as the 2g, I prefer the iPods.

The zune headphones are actually pretty good. A little big for my ears, but the sound quality is awesome.

Also, I use the bag all the time. For being so thin, its pretty effective at protecting it.

And for as heavy as it is, I feel that just makes it more durable.

Well, Zune is also slick (though it's not a fashion statement,) skinny (the flash Zunes are as skinny as the new Nano,) well made (Jim Kramer couldn't even smash it,) easy to use (without requiring you to make circles over and over again,) and all around pretty good.

The two are on equal footing, but I hate iTunes so I went with Zune.

Frankly, though, the final straw came when it wiped my entire library with no chance of me getting it back. (Also, a side note: yes, you do have to install something. It's called iTunes.)

Don't get me wrong, it's decent software if you have the stuff to use it. It just didn't fit my needs, and I didn't like the interface. To each his own.
