They did something to him that when he became infected he woke up and is now part of the Sentinels. The Sentinels are the group of people like Hale, who woke from the coma. Read about about it on wikipedia under Resistance 2

and personally i think that chimera are some how controled by russians still, go to european resistance websites and there will be an experience section click it and eventually there will be a map that shows the chimera spreading and infecting only europe and Russia no where else

Have u even played the Resistance games? It clearly says in Resistance Fall of Man that he Chimera are not Russian, If they were Russian then why in hell's name did the Russians let them loose in there own country. No offense but u sound like a dumbass saying that.

if you are then I have a question for you, where did all those chimerian creatures come from then huh? Yes I HAVE PLAYED ALL 3 GAMES and read the book, Chimeran creatures are formed from human bodies (most of them) what nation do expect them to come from, China how the hell does Britian, or the rest of Europe not know that?

Wow u r stupid as hell. The Chimera are NOT form earth dumbass. It says clearly. If they were from earth, then how the hell and why the hell did they manage to and bother to teleport the earth to a new section of space at the end of Resistance 2. It even says in RFOM in the document about the Widowmaker that they were brought from another planet and were not constructed form Human Bodies. U obviously dont know what you're talking about. THE CHIMERA ARE NOT FROM EARTH. Dumbass tool.

No where in my comment was I implying that the Chimeran were Earthly creatures honestly you are just implying too much- how about we fresh again ok?

I didn't say all forms of Chimera were made by human bodies

and how I'd appreciate it if you tell me SPECIFICALLY WHAT INTEL says that says Widowmakers were tellported to Earth, like a link (since someone else should have noticed by now)

or shipped in by space ships AKA "UFOs" (First sighted in 1944 over France) but until we get actual confirmation from Insomnaic games we can only guess

Yea i guess. Maybe in the game, Area 51 is a SRPA base where they keep secret Chimeran technology and shit. Its makes sense and it would be cool to have it as a location in Resistance 3. U like travel there to find some like Chimeran Space craft to destroy a Chimeran Mother-ship like in Independence Day or u could go there to find more information on the Chimera from alien relics recovered over the years. Stuff like Grey tech and other Ancient Chimeran Technology. That would be awesome.
