I'm no at&t fanboy but your location for at&t speed sucks. it is running at edge speeds. When I hook up might phone and do a speednet test I get anywhere from 2-3mbps period.

This commercial is a lie!! the hand offs are bad and if you are driving chances are that you will get disconnected. BTW i go to the park to relax, 3g speeds is fine as far as mobility goes. obviously Clear is targeting ignorant people and this guy is trying to make sales!! Get a life dude!!! and a haircut!!

@conejo013 Yes, but this is wireless technology and typically the latency from is higher. Meaning, there is more lag in high-end gaming.  The average user may not know the difference or even what I am talking about, but hardcore gamers do and it may not be the best option for them.

Waste of money and devices, Evo 4G will be an all in one Wifi hotspot supporting 8 users. Less crap to carry with just the Evo 4G phone, iPhone is going bye bye, Evo finally will kick it's ass! Time to make the move.

octobermadison  what you said has nothing to do with this product. I pay 30 dollars a month for clear, I get 7mbs download and use the clearspot at home for 4 computers and 2 iphones.

just ridiculous, if you buy a damn data plan unlimited through a phone carrier service, it will be much cheaper, since it will have bluetooth, ebaling wifi access spots whereever you are. this is just retarded, until there is a device that has no contract, maybe a year rate like 100 will be much better, until then, forget about personal wifi routers, just buy a damn data plan.

Phone data plan on 3G are not unlimited. They are capped around 5G of bandwidth. Check your contact and the small print. CLEAR is not the only one to offer a product like this. Both T-Mobile and Verizon and Sprint all have products like this. No, this product is not for everyone just like crappy slow 3G data plans are not for me.

@octobermadison, well you can sign a contract but on the site it stated that you can pay 30.00 for first 6 months or sign 2 years paying 30.00 for that many years. Not sure how much it will cost after the first 6 months though.
