  • ...!!! this records is everything but not repetitive. !!!! "Young Team" , The Hawk Is Howling with this "Hardcore Will Never Die," is the best set of MOGWAI records to have. These guys has been repetitive from 1998 to 2006.....

  • I bought this on vinyl the other day... and honestly, I think it will be awhile before a day goes by where I don't play this on maximum volume. Complete sonic euphoria, it buzzes in my ears even after it's over.

  • awesome!

  • 10 months later, this song has the same effect. If that's not the sign of quality, I don't know what is. I can't even listen to the song once at a time, if I put it on, I have to listen to it a minimum of three times...Just timeless!

  • Incredible tunes..back to Dublin soon please!!! amazing band

  • seeing this live was fucking awesome....

  • My headphones have had sex with my ears

  • Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat the FUCK?. blown away!

  • there is only one thing wrong with this band only one, it some times gets way to repetitive. but its perfect for when you want to see beyond the universe.

  • I cannot stop listening:-)

  • whoa..

  • Dominic returns to guitar set...!

  • Been listening to this song almost daily since this album was released. The tune is so infectious that even when I'm not listening to it, I'm thinking about it, hearing it in my head all the time. Much like when you hear something annoying that you can't shake, only I'm quite happy to have this occupy my thoughts.

    Awesome song, very memorable.

  • this is an amazing song :D

  • While I'm listenig to Mogwai, I feel like that anything could happen at any moment and this feeling bewitches me.

  • I am really underwhelmed by the new album . I can totally respect a band taking a new direction but they are kind of going places they shouldn't with the album. Even the title is bad.

  • Cant wait the Brixton academy gig

  • @vitality91 SAME!

  • Really loving this, so fuzzy yet it has a certain ambience to it. I've never heard something pull that off before. Looking forward to the album :)

  • Awesome! <3

  • Heard this live last night! I am in love with this band.

  • Thank you Mogwai.

  • Rano Pano is currently free to download at Amazon:

    dailyfreemp3. com/rano-pano-mogwai-rano-pano-bw-hasenheide-alternative-rock/

  • How can you make pan flutes sound amazing? Drown them out in pure epic awesomeness!!

  • In my mind, this is what music from the future sounds like.

  • Love the sound of the new stuff. Looking forward to Paisley on Thursday night.

  • To me, the whole song sounds like Mogwai's experiment with space rock, and I'm not just saying that because of the addition of synth and feedback. It just all feels like something strange or paranormal is happening somewhere at the same time as the picture in the album cover was taken. And this is the theme song to it.

  • i relive the best 5:15 minutes of my life whenever i hear this song

  • anyone know where the pic from?

  • @Cylam Fort Washington Park, NY. I think it is the view from the George Washington Bridge

  • @tonymulryan thankyou

  • @FatTonyCologino Fort Washington Park, NY. I think it is the view from the George Washington Bridge

  • @tonymulryan Nice...yep ive been there a million times still looks weird tho lol maybe cus im busy driving across not paying attention to the view.

  • This is nice, looks like Mogwai is finding a way to do some new stuff with instrumental rock and I'm loving it.

  • this is possibly the most original guitar riff ever ever ever ever ever made

  • Good for Mogwai for being a band that's able to make a riff and call it a song.

  • OH/MY/FUCKING/GOD.FOR SURE WE WILL, BUT ONLY WITH THIS SOUND!

  • Is it just me or does the part at 0:06 - 0:10 sound some sort of song/hymn from Catholic church? It sounds reeeaaaallly familiar..

  • amazing!!!

  • these guys don't just move the goal posts whenever they put something new out... they rip the goal posts altoghter....

  • this is a great piece of music...I totally fell in love with it, this is mogwai in it's purest form..This is still THE band of the century..I lvoe them...

well..hope you don't see this as a spam, but I thought this might interest some of you..

I found a band on youtube called "Nyctalgia"

If you've got the time, listen to their song "Falling into nothingness" and "Lost in timeless Horizons"

Breathtaking, intense songs by this young guy..

  • que putos maestros!

  • Que buen tema

  • A diferencia de otras canciones de Mogwai para disfrutar de esta no hace falta ir fumao.

  • @chicaplexiglas enorme

  • Actual, elegante y sencillo.

  • i made 7 different youtube accounts just so i could like this over and over again

  • @juandiego1234567890 you should use your spare time more wisely. lol.

  • @juandiego1234567890 So you want us to believe that the number of youtube accounts you made matches the number of dislikes on this video...just...by...chance?! o.Ô

  • @mhoeffken you realize that was 10 months ago, long before there were any dislikes on this video

  • Impresionante!!!! El post-rock, una alusión al bosque, a caminar errante sin preguntar, ir hacia lo lejos encontrando respuestas en la nada. Una niebla tranquila que revolotea en los arboles, despertando al más tranquilo de los ángeles.

  • mmmmmm

my bass is signed by the guys

  • Love the album name

  • im analyzing the cover art for my photography project. every time i look at it i hear lovely fuzzy noise in my head

  • Wow the melodies here are so catchy!

  • it's strange, and hard to describe why, but 'Rano Pano' is the perfect name for this song.

  • A great time for post rock in Dublin! Mogwai, EITS and GY!BE. I am fortunate to be seeing them all.

  • @redcommando1

    EITS? when are they playing?

  • @magic118 16th of May in vicar st. Should be amazing!

  • see them in march 14 at Cologne, good feelin with this new title....

  • Whoa, I really like this song, hope to hear the album soon!

  • LOL there are nine uploads of this same song ----->

  • @PhillipThunderGrunge yes, i almost uploaded it as well. withing six hours of the free song being posted in pitchfork, there were already three songs. many enthusiastic mogwai fans i guess. :)

  • @PhillipThunderGrunge

Lol yeah, I thought I was really smart, "Noone would've uploaded it". THen I actually did a search for one after I uploaded it.

    Gaaah.

  • LOL. Thre was a bird outside making repetitive firework noises and I thought it was part of the song. Hahahaha

  • I was like: Meh. Then I was like OH MY GOD THIS IS GOOD! Screw assumptions man

  • aaaah I hate the silence after a sond like this. - great one. love these guys. traveling through norway with this as a soundtrack makes it perfect.

  • @pizzaschachtel Hah, I live in Norway as a matter of fact xD

  • @pandemichalo92 Yeah, me too. :)

  • @pizzaschachtel *Åja, meg òg! :D

  • @pandemichalo92 men det er ikke bokmal... jeg kan bare snakker litt bokmal, de dialektene (!?) er veldig vanskelig for meg...

  • @pizzaschachtel Ikkje med meg heller, kor du er fra då?

  • Here's what I have to say about this.

  • @ignoranttwat

    you ignorant twat

  • @imOverWhere You're over where?

  • The bass line and the drums are the only straightforward elements for me. The melody that both guitars and the keys play is very beautiful, and has a bit of an intricate path. I've listened to Mogwai since the first day that Young Team was released, and I'm applauding them to leave the 'stars low and end high' element that's so very prevalent and played out in post rock today.

  • Ce morceau est mortel, je viens juste de l'entendre à la Radio "ici et maintenant", je découvre tout juste et c'est super envoutant !

  • monster of a track

  • awesome!!!

  • Wow

  • better than my expectations :D

  • They always hit the right spot.

  • Fuzzy is the word indeed. These guys never disappoint!

  • Fantastic, it sounds so fresh and fuzzy! Can't wait for their show in Dublin.

  • @dudebobbycash Looking forward to that gig myself , Especially in the Olympia

  • @Paulevertonfc Should be fantastic

  • It should be "Mogwai will never die, but you will"

    I absolutely lovedit!!!!

  • Awesome... can't wait to see them in 2011.

  • Sounds like the album is gonna be really good !

  • Perfect

  • good shit. gr8 shit. the best shit.

  • Yesssssss!!!!!!!
