@RM250D8rzr To frozen to drive, sat for two days while we tried to get some rig mats for the excavator to move along over the peat moss swamp to get to it. Allot of work and replaced parts to get it going again... insurance just didn't want to write it off, so I believe it was in the 35,000 range when it was all said and done... insane from what seemed to be a drop in a hole...
The first thought that comes to mind is "how in ???" ....then I think never mind I have driven a lot of offroad and seen strange things. That is hands down the most difficult level ground recovery I have ever seen. I'm surprised 10K covered the costs. Thanks for sharing.
Cost of all the equipment ran over 10,000. What isn't on the video is earlier, they had a different Excavator there, and was using a 30T logging chain, not only did it tip the excavator forward on its tracks, but it snapped the chain, which snapped and smashed into the back of the truck tailgate... if you look at the pictures, you will see the tailgate is all dented after being peppered by the chain, was pretty dangerous as people we standing all around.
god damn you were stuck good haha, didnt even look that bad, and that dam dodge barley fit on the deck of that tow truck lol
