I explain: remember when he killed the poor little boy who was training with his uncle or father, the little guy got a hard life then he was killed in a cruel way.
Now I think Gatsu have to face every troubles he'll meet and no have to say himself "it's so unfair what's happening to me".
brings back memories of Gattsu sitting under a tree with his sword as tall as he was ..after every battle & caska looking at him from away ...afraid that he's going to leave the hawks... seriously berserk is a masterpiece

Griffith is a brilliant character. I hate the action he committed in the end of the Golden Age arc, however you need think about all the trauma he has endured over the past year before he was rescued and the state he was left in; pretty much hopeless. So with the feeling of being useless, the extensive trauma and the fact that he was manipulated, the vision he was shown conjured by the God's Hand to persuade him to accept, it's understandable why he did it. Hate the action, don't hate him.
I love Berserk so much. It's one of those great animes where by the end of it you truly feel as though you have been on a journey with the characters; you know them personally, you've seen them change, you've been with them through their greatest victories and their most crushing defeats. It epitomises the ideas of camaraderie and the friendships and relationships feel natural and real. That and it has the singular most badass anime character ever in it!

just recently finished the anime then downloaded the start of the manga is all the engrish in the manga from the fact that the start is like 20 years old, does the engrish taper off soon...

Before the demons arrived, Griffith told Gutt's to stay back, there was compassion in him after trying to kill himself.

@Nimburu If your talking about the movies i think it is going to cover just the Golden Age Arc. I believe that is only to what the anime got up to but it is going to be more accurate to the manga. I hope this gets people interested in the series and we can finally get the manga scooting along and eventually get a conclusion to this awesome series.

I'd first like to mention that I have not seen the anime or read the manga yet. However, someone said this song was good so I thought I'd listen. Before listening I read many comments praising the song, saying they cried, etc. I was expecting quite an amazing song. I do enjoy it quite a bit, but as someone who listens to a lot of sad music where you can FEEL the emotion from it.... with this song, I'm very underwhelmed. I remember first watching the anime when I was 9 because I played the Dreamcast game, Sword of Berserk - Gut's Rage. I didn't expect it to be so violent back then hahaha! Recently I read the manga and its just amazing. I love the brutal reality and pure emotion. It's so deep.
I saw this wonderful anime 7 years ago, it made me feel a lot of emotions, no other anime has made feel the same way! the creator is a genius, best anime ever.
Am i the only one who really wants to see how it real ends i mean i find this not just a story but something beyond that, something that is unexplainable for everyone this gives me another way of seeing life. and that just because of an anime.
I am giving so much credit to the staff of beserk, i hope some day they will continue making those videos because beserk has more fans than it thinks.

@Nimburu If your talking about the movies i think it is going to cover just the Golden Age Arc. I believe that is only to what the anime got up to but it is going to be more accurate to the manga. I hope this gets people interested in the series and we can finally get the manga scooting along and eventually get a conclusion to this awesome series.

I'd first like to mention that I have not seen the anime or read the manga yet. However, someone said this song was good so I thought I'd listen. Before listening I read many comments praising the song, saying they cried, etc. I was expecting quite an amazing song. I do enjoy it quite a bit, but as someone who listens to a lot of sad music where you can FEEL the emotion from it.... with this song, I'm very underwhelmed. Just didn't do it for me, sorry. :L Maybe you'd like some suggestions.

I remember first watching the anime when I was 9 because I played the Dreamcast game, Sword of Berserk - Gut's Rage. I didn't expect it to be so violent back then hahaha! Recently I read the manga and its just amazing. I love the brutal reality and pure emotion. It's so deep.

Am i the only one who really wants to see how it real ends i mean i find this not just a story but something beyond that, something that is unexplainable for everyone this gives me another way of seeing life. and that just because of an anime.
I am giving so much credit to the staff of beserk, i hope some day they will continue making those videos because beserk has more fans than it thinks.
This is my favorite soundtrack brings me back to the story.

i have discovered berserk about 2 months ago .. and i am addicted ever since .. now i almost caught up with the current chapter .. and it sort of depresses me because there were slightly over 35 volumes released in 21 years.. so i'll probably be yearning for new chapters soon.. damn my obssesion.
