How to Record Videos Using VBA (and more)

I'm trying to upload mine, but it keeps saying C:\Documents and Settings\CENSORED\My Documents\Vid1.AVI could not be imported. The selected file is not valid or is corrupted.

@Ashrin9 I got it in December of 2010 so it is still concidered "New" in my house. All that is downloaded is java, firefox, and adobe flash.. There are a few other things but they only equal like half a MB. The computer was a gift at Christmas from my mother. It isn't even a year old so.. None taken :)

@MachoKed I eventually found out about VirtualDub which is a software used to sync video and audio at the same frame rate. It solved the problem but sometimes the output movie was too big (300mb +) which is far to big In my opinion. Try it anyway see what happens :)

while trying to download video to computer the best i can record on with no problems is either svdhHQ fast , 480x480 or dvd sp 352x480. if i use anything higher the video that im tryimg to record always freezes but the sound does not. does my computer need more memory or a faster port ? or maybe i bigger power supply ? i do have p4 proccesser.

I have just been trying to get the sound in sync with the movie. The irritating thing is that the sound is in sync at the start, but the longer the AVI is the sound gradually becomes more out of sync than originally.

I tried to upload a VBA strait from my files without putting it on Windows movie maker and it said it would take 500 minutes to upload! Is that suppost to be that long or should I put it on WMV?

Did you guys record the video as an AVI or a VBA vid? If you recorded it as a VBA vid, then that's the problem.

@mario41001 use virtualdub 1.9.10. when u open it go to file, then open video file.

once u open your video, go to video, then frame rate.then a menu should pop up.

there will be 3 choices at the top. you want the one that says change so video and audio durations match.then go to file, then save as avi.

when u save it. watch it and the sound will be on time

@mario41001 your vids must have de-sync problem, what you should do is use a computer if you have a laptop, it will help a lot with the de-sync, and use vba recording instead of camstudio
