But until then, surely there are more worthwhile things for a newly elected MP to be doing than making such unnecessary comments which try to insult local people who want to improve their community.
This is somewhat surprising given that Cllrs Rye, Lavender and Rye for that matter told me several times to my face that neglect of eastern Enfield by then Tory Council is a myth. Using the mother of an ex-Tory Councillor who got kicked out during the recent local elections because he didn't listen to the people of eastern Enfield is so crass! Let's be crystal clear, I am not attacking a defeated candidate, I'm attacking you. I agree Matthew was a good Councillor but even he will acknowledge, as he did in the Enfield Advertiser Newspaper when asked for a response: "Enfield failed to invest in eastern Enfield".
congrats and well done Nick, I remember you with black hair when you first tried to get elected in Enfield North. Dont make the same mistakes Joan Ryan made by forgetting us in Enfield North in the heady atmosphere of Westminister. you have waited a long time for this opportunity, we are counting on you.
