  • I was just listening to this on a tape compilation and thought, this sounds like Tears For Fears, and there is Curt and Roland.

    Good tune. Dancing melody.

  • ACTUANDO MI EDAD ES GENIAL .

  • Great!

  • THANK YOU WHOEVER YOU ARE......for posting this Graduate song....Loved hearing Roland and Curt in their pre-TFF days.

  • This song was played loads on radio 1 when it came out - can't understand why it wasn't a hit single.

  • Love this! Love the sound and wish we could have had both Tears for Fears AND Graduate to this day!

  • This band is so great. What makes me laugh is that they were in a band called NEON but Roland and Curt broke off to form tears for fears and the other two formed Naked eyes! Lucky for me, Tears for fears was so much better!

  • Amazes me how much this manages to sound like a cross between mid-70's ("Kung Fu Fighting", "Lowdown") disco with its funk skiffle guitar line and flute yet still has the more syncopated New Wave rhythm circa 1980.....really wish this was available in the States as a download!

  • Love this track!

Actually, the whole album is a treat for anyone who likes Tears for Fears! :)

Hoping for a new album soon...

  • They were so young and adorable!

  • this so different from TFF! the boys don't speak highly of this because apparently they wrote all the songs but the other members would outvote them on decisions etc. ....not good.

  • Nice! They were so great for a very young age. I can hear the 'Curt bass-playing' very clearly. And that tone only Roland has...wow! Thanks for the one who post this.

  • This is great.

  • this sounds like something the kaiser chiefs would sing. great song.

  • my father used to be in this band before they went big as tears for fears

  • Who is your Dad??

  • clive stacey he was a stand in

  • Anyone else remember this song being featured on the BBC regional music & arts magazine presented from Bristol by Andy Batten Foster back in 1980?!?

  • They look like goobers!

  • lol i fricken loved that goobers part lol!!! party on marajake!!!

  • LOL! Curt looks funny on that album sleeve. LOL!

  • wow so old. but classic.

  • This song is great. Roland and Curt teens here. This is Roland's voice, isn't it? I guess so.

  • Yeah that's Roland singing... I'd guess that they were between 18 and 22 when they did this

  • no about 17, they bacame tears for fears when they were 18 onwards.

  • Oh right, well the drummer is definitely about 22 here but he's older than the rest

  • the drummer was born in the late 50's.

ian stanely the keybordist was born in the late 50's to.

  • Do you mean the keyboardist in this video? His name is John Baker and he was born in the early 60s, not the same keyboardist as TFF

  • Great song
