I saw a poor little baby deer being attacked by a Coyote, I started crying . These animals are beautiful but I just hate the fact that animals have to feed on others. Obviously it is nature, but I so hate the idea. Anyways, I really loved the video, that animal is a beauty!
When we were coming home from Ice Skating the other night, a coyote ran in front of my car and my mom stopped Hella fast, and the coyote in your yard was like x2 the coyote I saw.
the stupidest thing to do is freak out and run cuz lik all other animals they can sense fear and that will cause them to chase u thats number 1, number 2, as others r saying dont feed them but certainly dont kill them cuz then ur just screwing both urself over and nature. there are other ways of scaring them away than killing them. and dont b stupid enough to leave ur dog outside alone cuz a coyote will definitly get them so in general dont be stupid
actually coyotes are very afraid of humans. All you have to do is step toward them and they run away. Now I don't recommend that because there will be some with the balls to actually attack, but most of them just go away like cowards.
@Arrow6210 Hey Arrow6210, unfortunately, the coyotes here in Vancover have lost their fear of people because people feed them. There was an incident 2 years agot where a mother was on her front lawn gardening, with her child beside her and a coyote came up and tried to take the child!!!. When people hand feed wild animals, they loose their fear of people which can lead to situations were the animal has to be destroyed for public safety.
I ran into a coyote on a trail today while I was giving my cousin a pony ride and it looked at me, and it just stood there. Then I yelled at it bc my cousin was terrified! Lol
A few days ago 2 coyotes came into my side yard. And I didn't know this, but my cat was outside at that time! Coyotes come into the field behind my house and in the woods near my house. So do deer, geese, and rabbits.
@AgentDumbKid we never let our cat out at night because both coyotes and raccoons will kill cats. It's wonderful to see all these wild animals, but it is important NOT to feed them otherwise they lose their fear of people.
@insidius87 HI indidius87, coyotes at least here on the west coast of Canada are not dangerous to adults, but a small child could be at risk. On the East coast of Canada, there was a female jogger who was killed by a group of coyotes while she was jogging in a forest.
@bearinmybackyard oh my gosh, you gotta be kidding me... a pack of coyotes actually managed to kill a young girl jogging, that's crasy, was it in Quebec?? how young was this girl?
@togreenday The coyotes do serve a purpose in nature in helping to control rodents, etc., but I understand what you mean about the fear of it killing your pet. Even if you kill one, [which I don't believe in, there will always be more. Better to show the coyotes that they are NOT welcome in your back yard and make sure you neighbours aren't feeding them because they think of them as dogs

this coyote has a white point at his tail - like a fox. beautiful. and well, small children shouldn't anyway run alone - there are some people out there who are much more dangerous than coyotes.

@krissa310 yes, that is so true. it is not uncommon in the summer months, when you are trying to fall asleep to hear coyotes "serenading you". LOL!!

i would be scared to go into my backyard. although i witnessed a coyote eat one of my geese. it was entertaining and disturbing at the same time.

I'd be scarred if I had a young baby. Actually considering that we also have bears, we made sure we always were outside with the kids.
