im just about to play runes of magic but i have a minor problem i dont know which class to choose, i want it to be easy to lvl up, deal good damage and easy to get money please help???

@cuttycut127 You wanna go something like Scout/Priest or Rogue/Priest (If Human). For the simple reason of Scouts and Rogues not needing mana to use abilities, therefore quicker dps and you can nuke dps and not have to worry about mana. :)

@cuttycut127 in any mmorpg there is never a class that makes it easy to get more money. that falls along the lines of leveling up faster and also having good damage to do it even quicker. nonetheless, you can never gain more money than the next guy. you might have the ability to kill faster, but it doesn't matter, you still get the same amount of money. the only recommendation i can give to you is to get a class that makes killing and such easier so you can grind more often. i feel your pain >.<

Scellphone is right, this game really is pay 2 win due to the advantage the item shop gives you for gearing. To give you an idea of big this difference is people twink lvl 29 characters for PvP so a twinked mage may have 17000 HP, where as a typical lvl 29 mage for a free player will have 1800 - 2700 (there are lvl limits on who you can fight in arena 1-29 is the first band).

It is not a game for those who value skill or the challenge (or indeed class balance, bug fixes, decent support, etc)

@allstylesofmusic Erm 34 doesn't really count, the amount of the diamonds you need at that level is tiny compared to endgame, frankly it is a waste of time at that level. At end game the vast majority of well geared toons are paid players, their is handful of f2p who have no lives and play every hour they can (or use bots, another problem with ROM) that are decently geared, but they still can't compete with those willing to spend the money.

The game is fundamentally flawed, gear is all that matters, to the exclusion of all else, to the point that players leave many skills under lvl 10, because at end game the contribution in damage that a fully levelled skill makes is insignificant compared to gear, so it is better to keep the skill low and to keep power cost down, their is not a more p2w game in existence, which is why you have end gamers spending many, many times what they would to on a sub.

this is a great game but just a heads up, the way gearing works and how the item mall is constructed with a lump sum of cash you can make your character over powered which causes a huge gap in stats between people who pay and people who don't. not nocking the game but if you expect to be good at pvp and gvg you will have to pay
