weird i got my laptop on vista when i try to run the program u said as admin like you said there a pop up saying "This application has failed to start because libusb0.dll was not found.

Nope. Most you can do is semi-brick it (It appears bricked but it still has function and you can get it back to normal by knowing how to boot)

EDIT: I restored using the file in the voltage folder. It now does not read my ipod as an ipod. Booter says: ] error: iPod not found.

It is a RAR file. You need WinRar to extract it.
