Some of the shit people make. Scientist need to be smart AND wise, who wants a screen you can see through! personally when i want to see my computer screen i don't want to look at the crap behind it.
These would be great in service vehicles. Such as Police, EMS, Fire, and even delivery services. Often when the use of a computer is necessary while driving, the driver must currently take eyes off the road, I think this would be better.
Imagine it being touch sensitive, you could install this shit in like the housing around your shower, so you would be able to get weather and all kinds of information with it, but since it's translucent, when you turn it off it looks like normal glass so it's really nice integrated instead of some weird black monitor in your shower housing...
@roggelmagic yeah, if they can get that thing to be completely transparent with touch sensitive, then we'll have screen imbeded in just about anything around us that's transparent. the possibility in design and ergonomical advantage then is endless.
