I disagree with the first tip. I use the sun as backlight all the time and bounce in my fill. Better than the other way around when going for great hair light. What you should have said, was try not to point the lens directly into the sun itself... (unless the sun is what you are trying to get, then you need a bunch of NDs)

Very good; how do you keep the sound track steady when the film has stops in it for the scene combinations?

You have to record the music, and then create a second sound track
