Thats fine, and I wish them well. The concern of the US government is in the transition which can all too easily be hijacked by militant factions with the goal of establishing an Islamic state. Various groups within the Middle East have clearly stated such things as their goal, and rigging elections is quite the common tactic. My initial comment was intended to highlight that the goals of the Egyptian people are not necessarily going to prevent it from happening.

Can I ask why after 30 years did the people of Egypt decide to take back the country? Why not before? The economy has been realitively the same for the past decade. Has something changed all of a sudden? And when he is overthrown, because its not a question of if any more but when, who will take his place?
