Your wrong TheMariela91, evil is an operative property of human mentality and emotional experience. There is and have been several prime examples of social evil in the last hundred years, Hitler, Stalin, Mao.
Evil is a term well known outside of religious circles world wide and as such is a proper description used in the formulation of a moral subjective argument, and its use here perfectly legitimate.
Last year we got to the same point as Egypt is facing now. We were million of people outside protesting anti Ahmadinejad and Khamenee's Regime, and they sent us undercover police to people and they killed alot. One of them was Neda. WE GAVE UP at that moment and after few days we went home. now it has been almost two years that we are home. MY EGYPTIAN FRIENDS: DON NOT GIVE UP AT THIS TIME. FIGHT WITH THEM. Look at Iran situsation and decide.
@doublebasesnare I AM REALLY FUCKING OFFENDED, YOU WHITE PIECE OF SHIT. I AM BLACK, YOU REDNECK SON OF A RACIST BITCH..PLEASE, DO US ALL A FAVOR AND "GO KILL YOUR SELF" YOU FUCKER. YOUR DISMISSED NOW, YOU WASTE OF FLESH.
revolution !!!! rise up against the leaders !! against injustice and scream for peace and don't let them keep you hungry !!! tear down the borders !!! freedom !!
@357lenny They didn't, AlJazeera is just a media outlet, like CNN. It was a combination of President Obama's visit to Cairo in '09; the Wikileaks diplomatic cable leaks which exposed the rampant corruption in Tunisia, and the social importance of microblogging sites like Facebook and Twitter in the Middle East.
@bjbjbjbjbj Islam isn't evil...PEOPLE who lie about following the religion and claim they are Muslims are the ones evil and hypocrites. No where in the Qur'an does it say to to kill people who are innocent. The media has only one job in the west which is to portray everything in Islam to be evil. truth is always oppressed by others..but if you want to know the truth you should go and resaerch on your own and then change or stay with your views.
@TheMariela91 Not any more. The USA is a big evil machine in a fancy, good looking suit. It stopped giving money Mubarak after the riots broke out. The USA can't afford to look any worse than it does right now. Even more than half the citizens hate this place, and want it to burn. The rest of the world feels even worse. How do you feel about a country that stays afloat by plundering others? I'd assume, not very good.
Wish this'd happen in the USA. We left Britain for freedom and to get away from taxes.. then drown ourselves in freedom reducing laws, and tax the shit out of ourselves. Fucking capitalism.
@malizmaul i hope that ALL the USA citizens get together this summer during the fourth of July and just protest for the freedom that we deserve, even though people are ignorant and don't give a shit anymore what the gov't does.... unless it deals with their money... :( but i completely agree with you.
good morning EGYPT, the weather for today, hot, the day after, hot, and if u were a bettin man, you'd pick hot..............whats goin on, rebalin and depression, thats all for now, you all tune in later to see, how tis isn't working and it is being ignored
This is just a sign of things to come in the US. They always happen in weaker countries first. The middle class is being destroyed so that the US can be leveled out with the rest of world. Thats why th ejobs are being destroyed. The same sort of thing will happen here, its just a matter of time.
This American wishes success for the Egyptian people. there can be no greater goal than Liberty. America is not the problem, we have the same problem, elitist bankers sucking the life out of us.
Egypt went downhill when they were overrun by Arabs and became a predominantly Muslim country. Then the Arabs came. With towels on their heads. Even the once mighty Egypt couldn't stop the Arabs.
@doublebasesnare The military is the fucking problem. The military is one of the reason why we are in the situation we are in. So fuck the military, fucking murderer's. If the government cut that budget by itself, everyone would have healthcare for free and be able to go to college for free. Trust me, China pretty much owns our military. So fuck the american crime family government. And you wonder why the world says death to america. America is the biggest oppressor in the world.
@jrda128 I wish more people would figure this out.. Oh well, I've denounced my alliegiance to the people of earth.. Should there be an alien invasion, I'm on their side.. Should I see someone in dire need of assistance, even if their life depends on it? I'll watch them die. I'm fed up with this planet and its people.. Bunch of retarded scum bags..
And now our president is faced with s difficult choice, support a powerful ally in the middle east (suez canal and whatnot) or stand by the ideals of democracy and support the people...?
Either way someones gonna be upset, times like these I feel sorry for Obama.
@doublebasesnare umm dude.. egypt is our biggest ally in the middle east.. beyond that they are most powerful country in the middle east.. as for fat and lazy.. i agree.. America on average is still a very hard working country.. ever notice that the fat people tend to be on welfare and jobless?
@Robo120130 America wants a democracy but at the same time this one man did more for our country than our last 5 presidents combined lol.. he ended the egyptian war with Isreal.. that ended lots of drama.. he is our biggest supporter and ally in the middle east.. yet we must stand by our firm belief of true democracies
You see this stupid American, this is how change occurs so get off your lazy, fat asses and stand up against this corrupt system that we have. Shit will not change unless we take it to the street in fact, shit is going to get worse. 365 protest until we get what we want and need. WAKE THE FUCK UP YOU PEASANTS.
@unicycle2993 if you live in American then you should know that there ain't shit to be excited or happy about. We are continuously getting fucked by our government over here and what do the people do? absolutely nothing but eat more Mcdonald's and dunkin donuts. When is enough enough.

I don't think you people realize that the people of Egypt do not want an Islamic state. They are too used to having things that are 'westernized'. The last thing they want is an Islamic state, period.
@Phage0070 I don't think you understand what I was commenting about. The Egyptian people do not want an Islamic state. At all. That is the last thing they wish. All the Egyptians want is their basic rights returned to them and political reforms, not an Islamic state.
Thats fine, and I wish them well. The concern of the US government is in the transition which can all too easily be hijacked by militant factions with the goal of establishing an Islamic state. Various groups within the Middle East have clearly stated such things as their goal, and rigging elections is quite the common tactic. My initial comment was intended to highlight that the goals of the Egyptian people are not necessarily going to prevent it from happening.
This isn't a revolution for democracy, it was at first, but now people are taking advantage of it and trying to institute even worse things such as Sharia Law.I hope to see Freedom prevail no matter what though (:
@bjbjbjbjbj Why? You can't just make such an assumption so easily, without basis or evidence. Declaring something as "evil" denotes a religious orientation. Religion, and religious interpretation are very relative and very from person to person. If you're trying to say that Islam is bad or not good in a more legitimate sense, than you shouldn't call it evil.
Since you all make fun of these poor people-while sitting on your fat behinds, why don't you for a change try to reform your own oppressive governments?
I meant all extremists are going to revolt everywhere in the world. If he is out out of power they will then have their way to try and plot against America
The reason for the riots is, President mabarak silenced the voices of Muslim extremists and the brotherhood. He silenced them cause they hate America BUTwe give Egypt over 1billion a year and have a treaty with them. But the extremists are rising everywhere I n the woe and are revolting.
Reason for the riots is, the president Mubarak suppressed the Muslims extremists. He had certain people killed cause they where enemies of America since we give them over 1billion a year. But since Muslim extremists found out he was killing and suppressing them as not to make America angry they revolted.
Can I ask why after 30 years did the people of Egypt decide to take back the country? Why not before? The economy has been realitively the same for the past decade. Has something changed all of a sudden? And when he is overthrown, because its not a question of if any more but when, who will take his place? How are the people going to know that the man/woman that takes his place doesn't do the same thing? Just questions I have been wondering that no one has answered.
@soursop i think its because after what happened in tunisia earlier gave them courage and rekindled their spirit. they didn't believe that they could do it until tunisia
@Kittylovr@soursop Because at the beginning of this year Tunisia got rid of their dictator, Ben Ali. Also food prices in Egypt went up. Just a couple of reasons why the Egyptians got angry with their government.
@notcrazyjustyet they chant the nation needs a organized government , they chant egypt , they chhant rid of the mugremeen ( unjust people) or thug government
America and the west supported this tyrant for 30yrs pumpin him with military aid to supress his people, oh but because he was 'friends' with israel, nothing else matters!! now this has backfired, they are all being useless hypocrites calling for change! they never cared one bit about how mubarak treated his people as long as he befriended Israel. oh and why is the west worried about Muslim brotherhood. Did the terrorist organisation IRGUN in israel not produce all their leaders? power to EGYPT
They are wearing Hijabs,in english a Head scarf, a headscarf worn by Muslim women; conceals the hair and neck and usually has a face veil that covers the face .the custom in some Islamic societies of women dressing modestly outside the home;she observes the hijab and does not wear tight clothing.
A successful democracy requires separation of church and state and these people are unfortunately not ready for that. They will have to suffer until they are able to separate religion from politics. What a shame.
translation; Egypt! Egypt! then praying, God is the gratest, the people want to get rid of the regime, all people are one (egyptians), on the building they wrote the police got the prisoners out but we are not afraid.
Christians in Egypt had better fear for their lives, there is an underlying movement NOT designed around freedom, but religious fundamentalism. Coptics are about to become history in Egypt, and expect Obama to have little to say about that tonight.
@gmonet46 Obama will support his puppet and turn a blind eye to the atrocities that puppet commits. I hope the Egyptian people manage to put their own person in power.
@dirtbagstatus Excellent point, and I too hope you are right. I am disturbed about his sudden street fighting caused apparently by government "gangs."

@Kittylovr I have the same question? Why now? what was the trigger?
soursop 1 year ago
@soursop i think its because after what happened in tunisia earlier gave them courage and rekindled their spirit. they didn't believe that they could do it until tunisia
TheHighKing1234 1 year ago
@Kittylovr @soursop Because at the beginning of this year Tunisia got rid of their dictator, Ben Ali. Also food prices in Egypt went up. Just a couple of reasons why the Egyptians got angry with their government.
ssparrow331 1 year ago
@Kittylovr After the Tunisia uprising early this year that resulted in its president being booted sparked most of these Egyptians into protesting.

A successful democracy requires separation of church and state and these people are unfortunately not ready for that. They will have to suffer until they are able to separate religion from politics. What a shame.

Christians in Egypt had better fear for their lives, there is an underlying movement NOT designed around freedom, but religious fundamentalism. Coptics are about to become history in Egypt, and expect Obama to have little to say about that tonight.
gmonet46 1 year ago
@gmonet46 Obama will support his puppet and turn a blind eye to the atrocities that puppet commits. I hope the Egyptian people manage to put their own person in power.
