  • Does anyone remember that "Fitness Break" girl who always loaded her routines with really suggestive innuendo?

I seem to remember her peach coloured stretchy workout strip usually didn't have anything under it either heh

  • @raezer I did the workouts too and was very young... and sort of fat/ chubby. Those women motivated me. take care.

  • Those leotards can also be worn as bathing suits. At that time, I remember having a leotard that I also wore as a bathing suit at the same time.

  • I remember seeing this in the morning before I went to work as a dietary aide at a Catholic nursing facility. Here in Philadelphia, it came on right after Richard Simmons.

  • Always liked that catchy theme song. This was seen in Houston on KRIV-26, and for a short time on KHOU-11.

  • The team of 20 Minute Workout also produced Aerobisce for Showtime in the USA and maybe First Choice in Canada.

I wonder if Sony/MGM or FOX/MGM or just plain MGM (formerly Orion) owns the rights to 20 Minute Workout in the USA. It would be perfect to rerun with the other MGM vintage TV shows and movies on the digital TV/digital cable network THIS TV.

  • Has there ever been:

    * A 20 Minute Workout DVD set in the Canadian market?

    * A French dubbed version of 20 Minute Workout for French-Canadian TV stations?

In Chicago, 20 Minute Workout aired first on WFLD 32, then on WPWR 60/50, and for 1 more year on WLS ABC 7.

  • Yeah, Nelvana Ltd. did a few live-action programs at the time, but as the time went on, they went to produce more animated programs, as we know of. By the way, that message wasn't just for you, it was for anybody who was curious about who produced the show, or if Nelvana did the show or not.

  • "20 Minute Workout" was seen on syndicated stations throughout all of the US through first-run syndication from 1983 until 1985, and reruns were intact even after that of syndicated reruns. Nelvana Ltd.(The canadian children's company who gave us children's shows such as "Little Bear", "Franklin", "The Magic School Bus" among others) was the producers of the show in Canada(while in the US, Orion Pictures distributed the series) for City TV, who originally aired the series.

  • if those fat lazy tards that got boners from watching the show, and actually got up and work out, they could have been fucking, instead of being ugly fat lazy tards

  • This program caused an untold number of morning boners.

  • Yeah, I was almost late for school loads of times because I was hanging back and watching those imfamous crotch shots..

  • Exactly!

Did you see it? I didn't.

  • Really? You don't say.

That fact is like saying that Jim Danforth and David Allen did the stop-motion effects for FLESH GORDON (1974).

Better yet, it's like Genndy Tartovsky showing a DEXTER'S LABORATORY episode that has swearing in it in Comic-Con. It's true.

  • What do you mean?

  • Bess was HOT!!!

  • two words: TV CARNAGE

  • There was always something surreal about this show. Of course, that wasn't the appeal...

  • Hey, they showed a clip from this show on "Follow that Bird".
