Bad acting. Camera angles were a bit boring. Good camera but every scene went by too fast, fast talking, no tension built up in each scene. Eh. The phone call was a little too Matrix. The first lines were almost directly lifted from Morpheus talking to Neo. Maybe texting would've been more interesting and original.

My suggestion as a film major would be to go with ADR and Foley in post, that way you don't have varying volumes of background white noise from the mic. It just sounds so much cleaner. Good job though.

Action scenes were good. The lighting really created a good mood. I thought the walking really slowed it down. I can say I wasn't neccessarily bored. It kept my attention. On a grading scale like the info for the film says 'A+', I'd say it is an easy B-, but it can be reedited to be better.

Excellent work. The story was well written, the effects and camera were top notch, and the locations were good. I could picture seeing something like this on the big-screen.

For a low budget film I would say the effects are pretty good, just very unoriginal. There are a lot of great qualities about this film but there are plenty of bad one as well, first off when your writing a script its best to start by writing an outline of beats of the story to establish what is going to happen. This will help decide the best way to visually tell the story with shots, and dialogue. There is a lot of room for grow in your work, you really need to move towards your own ideas.
there are somethings i saw and i'm not in film class. like when he says "hi, how are you?" and the one guy says "my name is eric." i don't think it would go like that if he just met someone. and um, when people talk when they hold a gun to someone's head, like in the end; they aren't thinking about their hands. like, if your talking you are going to be thinking of what you want to say first. so he could have shot the guy when he was talking cause he wouldn't have shot back. but its still a 100/5

Well done film, however, if you were trying to replicate real films, to add "dramatic depth" by killing off actors, it just didn't work in this one, also the whole jumping theme was already established in Jumper, next time go for a more original approach, take the same idea and tweak it for yourself, people, especially in the film industry, will take you much more seriously once they see you have your OWN ideas, nice direction though.
this kinda seems like a rip off of both jumper and push. it's good, but seems to basically have exactly the same story. and when I say seems to I mean does.

For a low budget film I would say the effects are pretty good, just very unoriginal. There are a lot of great qualities about this film but there are plenty of bad one as well, first off when your writing a script its best to start by writing an outline of beats of the story to establish what is going to happen. This will help decide the best way to visually tell the story with shots, and dialogue. There is a lot of room for grow in your work, you really need to move towards your own ideas.

there are somethings i saw and i'm not in film class. like when he says "hi, how are you?" and the one guy says "my name is eric." i don't think it would go like that if he just met someone. and um, when people talk when they hold a gun to someone's head, like in the end; they aren't thinking about their hands. like, if your talking you are going to be thinking of what you want to say first. so he could have shot the guy when he was talking cause he wouldn't have shot back. but its still a 100/5

I agree with the comments about it taking core ideas from jump and push but these days nothing is completely original
i think the way it was filmed was alright but the acting was completely terrible. I realize its a pretty low-budget short film but come on. I wasn't drawn into the story at all.

Well done film, however, if you were trying to replicate real films, to add "dramatic depth" by killing off actors, it just didn't work in this one, also the whole jumping theme was already established in Jumper, next time go for a more original approach, take the same idea and tweak it for yourself, people, especially in the film industry, will take you much more seriously once they see you have your OWN ideas, nice direction though.

this kinda seems like a rip off of both jumper and push. it's good, but seems to basically have exactly the same story. and when I say seems to I mean does.
