  • Where did you get that kit from?

Do you think they would have a kit for a n15 1.6 (same engine)

  • how much did u get the kit for

  • where did u get your mainfold? or its custom?

  • @slipknotr32 it is a tsi (turbo specialties inc) manifold, came with the kit

  • amigo necesito de tu ayuda, me podrias proporcionar tu correo arme mi motor turbo y me gustaria q me resolvieras unas dudas por tu tiempo grax

  • @fenixcmb lo siento amigo yo no escribo espanol. Tienes un amigo leer ingles?

  • is dat turbo off ebay?, and is the g16 worth tuning?, i hav a friend wit dis engine, and it is slow!!even after bolt on modifications.....I LUV MY HONDA!

  • @joeaccord23 no the turbo isn't from ebay it's from a company called tsi. The ga16 is a great starter car and it is fun to learn on. It's never gonna be a sr20, but if you want to work on something and a ga is what you have then go for it. Always been a nissan guy myself so I'm not to up to date on hondas...

  • @akexnads after the turbo installed, will u be able to beat an sr20? because if it does u dont have to worry about it not being an sr20.

  • @joeaccord23 havent really raced it to know but im pretty sure i can take a n/a sr20

  • What Manifold are you using??

  • what the! tiny as turbo

  • well with twin turbo kits such as this one its often better to use two smaller turbos for better spool time, the second turbo is just out of sight on the back cylinder bank

  • put a S230 in there they have 60-70 more hp

  • SR20 I meant

  • I could, but I don't really think it's worth it. For almost the same price I could just buy a ser 200sx and have rear disk brakes, a sunroof, and not have to deal with a swap. If I am going to do a swap I am going to get a 89 sentra awd and put my ga16 in that.

  • hey there akexnads, a quick question... where does the hose fom your valve covers breather go to?

  • it goes to the intake preturbo

  • @akexnads what was your horsepower and why invest into the shitty 1.6 and not a sr20

  • @gokartmaster123 cause it would be cheaper to buy an se-r and not have to deal with a swap, but I was dead set on a turbo and didn't have the money to buy a new car and a turbo so i went with what I had, and i still get over 30mpg if i stay outta boost

  • @akexnads Very true..what horse power and torque u get so far out of the kit?

  • @gokartmaster123 I dunno about power, never dyno'd it, I can definitely feel a difference but I have absolutely no numbers of any kind. wish i did though

  • was the turbo pretty easy to put on?

  • with basic knowledge and a decent set of tools I would say pretty much anyone could do this.

  • wtf? ok my first ? where did you get the turbo headers? and my second ? what waste gate you put? you have boost controler for this turbo kit? men nice job under the hood i reale like...

  • Ok, the turbo manifold came with the kit from tsi that I installed. It's an internal wastegate that also came with the kit. Yes, I have a boost controller that I purchased seperate for about 30 dollars. I kinked a boost line when I installed it so it's running wide open right now so I need to fix it before I do anything else. Any other questions?

  • is this a 1.6l model? if so what turbo brand cuz im look to get one? i cant find any cuz they always search up the se-r turbo kit

  • Yes, it is the 1.6L. It is from the company TSI (turbo specialties). I orded my kit from prostreet online and they were very help full with everything.

  • about what rpm does the turbo kick in?

  • Just about 3k is when you really feel the kick, but it starts building boost as soon as you press the gas.

  • how much boost are you gitting and was it worth the money? how much gain HP & TQ did you get from the T20?

  • 6 psi of boost, but I just bought a boost controller to shoot for 10-12. I'm not sure on power numbers I'm too poor to dyno, but you can feel the turbo kick in for sure. As far as being worth the money, this was my first car and I've had it for 6 years now so it was definitly better than trading it on a different car. For the same money could I have traded it in on something faster definitly, but I would do it again anyday. May not be the fastest car on the road but it's a blast to drive

  • and it's got 160,000 miles 4k of which are turbo miles and no smoke and no major issues. Plus if I can manage to stay away from the boost (which is very hard). I still get pretty damn good gas mileage.

  • I think with everything it ended up about $2500. My dad and I did all the work ourselves. It wasn't too hard of an install. The worst part was drilling the oil pan.

  • i have a 98 200sx se with the 1.6 engine how did you do all this and how much did it cost
