That savior belief is arrogant at best and pretty much makes the US the world bully. The point of the pot comment was that the US does not support true freedom when it jails more people than any other country and by a vast majority. It's all about money, not freedom. And everything about the military is blindly following orders. If you refuse to follow orders you get jail time. You don't get a choice. Obey or be imprisoned. I had a conversation with an army friend about this just the other day.

Check out 1:42 into the video. That's called kidnapping. When anybody else does it it's illegal and wrong, but when it's the soldiers I guess that just makes it all fine and dandy now doesn't it? @koolkranny Well if you are the one claiming that the video is doctored then show your evidence. The onus isn't on me to prove a negative. There is the video evidence of soldiers kidnapping someone. If you want to claim that there was something else going on then the onus is on you to prove it. 'Course I'm sure in your mind soldiers always do what's right so you don't feel like you have to prove anything.

I'm claiming that these video's were taken out of context and they're probably training. And I'm standing up for some of my best friends who are in the military. I know a few who would end up doing this kind of training, and if you want I'll ask then if they know anything about this.

@koolkranny Training? They were at a rally of some sort and 2 military men pulled up in an unmarked car, grabbed a guy, and kidnapped him. The guy wasn't going with them willingly. If that's the kind of training our military does then it's worse off then I thought. And just cause your friends are in the military doesn't change the fact that there are times when soldiers do evil things. Maybe your friends aren't those kind of soldiers, but there are plenty of others who are.

At 1:43 where the guy is getting "kidnapped" the 2 guys who are in uniform aren't A: wearing any combat gear, B: not wearing any headgear, C: not wearing the correct boots used by the current US military, D: not even wearing the same uniforms, E: and to top it off, aren't wearing a us flag on their left shoulder. This leads me to the conclusion that it's a foreign kidnapping. By the way all the shots with US riot mp's are in training.

America has 5% of the world's population yet holds 25% of the world's prison population. We have become a police state and everybody is too busy entertaining themselves to realized it or do anything about it. Citizens are seen as threats. One of these days martial law will be declared and then it'll be too late.

If civilians were seen as threats then I wouldn't be friends with military people. What you don't seem to understand is that the military is made up of people. @koolkranny We have a large prison pop. because people get jailed for any little thing. Simply smoking pot can get you 20 years, which is flat out ridiculous. Maybe you just don't understand the magnitude of what 25% of the world's prison population really means. No civilization in history has enslaved more of it's own citizens. And for the record I know many people in the military including my own brother and half of my best friends. It isn't common soldiers who see civilians as threats though.

@wallninja2 An army is made up of common soldiers. Soldiers don't have to obey crazy or unlawful orders. If a general orders his soldiers to fire into the crowd and kill civilians, the soldiers are more likely to turn around and kill him. By the way this isn't a conversation about prison populations. And no smoking pot won't land you in jail for 20 years. Selling it might tho.
