I am of the camp that believes map levels should be fun to play, not so excrutiatingly hard that even the makers themselves find them difficult to complete (like Fauch, for instance). There is absolutley nothing wrong wth this level just the way it is; having the enemies coming only from ahead of you only adds to the effect of you fighting your way into some place. Having enemies coming from everywhere just for the sake of having enemies coming from everywhere is not always the best thing IMO.
@Mafujalate329 actually, those enemies come only if you destroy the autoguns by destroying the switch...i guess i could have them come from where you started....thanks for the input....i could have half of them that way and half coming from behind you i guess...
Note to self, next time I need to take out a turret control module, bring my remote control cat and remote mines XD

I started laughing pretty hard at 5:17
As a general rule of thumb, it's a good idea to surround the player with enemies, rather than have all the enimies coming from one direction.

as a general rule of thumb or because it is the way I do it? because before me, not many maps seemed to use that idea.

@LeFaucheur the first map has absolutely no hiding place from enemies at the end and you're basically getting your butt kicked

@LeFaucheur Not just because you do it. Surrounding the player with enemies is an important part of FPS design as a whole.
