Thank you for keeping this memorable music alive and for performing it with such style and feeling. There was a time (reflected in this music) which was romantically cultured and filled with sophistication and unabashed melody. There's little fascination in today's contrived and corny pop tunes and the relentless commercialization of said trash.

My mother plays an absolutely Beautiful and brilliant self-arrangement of this piece by ear, and has a brilliant finish to the work - much above this ending on here. She is now 84, but she still plays these pieces and hymns on a regular basis. She prefers to play them in 3 or 4 flats though; Fabrizio Caligaris here, plays this piece in the simpler white keys.

That's beautiful, man! I'd give you 6 stars if I could! That was my dad's favourite song (cancer took him 6 years ago) and has become my favourite too. He would always ask me to play it whenever he found me with an instrument nearby (sax, piano, guitar, accordion, flute) and I still play it very often. It's amazing how it can bring calm and help me relax. It's fascinating! Great talent you've got, though. Keep using it wisely.

Wonderful stuff and great talent. I would love to know the brand of piano on board the ship. It is really bright in the treble and very good for your music The unisons sound tightly in tune. I would imagine that it needs a touch-up tuning every time the ship is in port. I once had a dream of being a loung lizard organ player when I was a teen, but that was over 40 year ago. :)
