Hey is it worth it to like buy an 88' Mk3 Turbo with a bunch of aftermarket parts on it and fix it up such as a paint job, and a few small cosmetic damages for like 3.5k?

thats prolly a good deal, depends wut kind of parts, and if it has a blown head gasket, ask if its been changed and torqued properly, cuz the 7m motors in the mk3 supra's head bolts weren't tightened down as much as they should have after the gasket material was changed, stock its like 43 ft/lbs torque, when it should be up in the 70's +, u can get it done at a shop prolly for around another grand, so if the other parts are good & u think 1g more would be worth it, then go for it =)

TOYOTA ARISTO is relatively cheaper than supra's price. You can get it for around $9-$10k for a very good condition. The ARISTO has the same engine(2jz-gte) with a Lexus GS-300 body. Very fast and comfortable. However, it it not legal in US, it is legal in Canada.

I currently own 1987 Corolla GTS(AE86), 1992 Toyota Aristo Twinturbo, 2003 Nissan Altima 3.5. My brother has 1992 Nissan Skyline GTR (R32) with R33 engine, carbon fibre hood and 18" gold rims. It is in mint condition! I will trade my Aristo for the Skyline and pay him some more money. This comming May 2008 is the year that we can import the Mark IV supra (1993). My favorite car is Supra. GTR is also my favorite car too, and I like the way GTR accelerate in the first 4-5 seconds.
