Yeah I don't know who thought this was in a different key, but you might need to retrain your ear to pitches.
This is the same key as the released album version. The only difference is that here on stage, artists are allowed the creative leniency to make it a little more "original".
Many bands tune down a 1/2 step or so when they play live just so it's easier on the singers voice because they are singing so much.

what sucks is they change the key when they play live than what it is recorded.. it's to high for will to really sing.
if you can't sing as high as you do on the record, then record it in a lower key gooof balls.

it sounds better higher...almost every band is worse live than in studio so it's not a big deal
