No one ever mentions that Panama was also in Duran's corner. Duran often seemed to come out of the corner in better shape at the end of the fight. Makes me wonder how many of Panama's tricks were used to make Duran into the legend he was. Maybe he didn't use any tricks for Duran, but usually a cheater cheats even when he doesn't need to.

Hey Teddy Atlas, watch the documentary! In the documentray, Luis Resto admits that he used plaster of paris. Teddy Atlas is all talk and doesn't seem to be the expert that he is perceived to be. His predictions are often incorrect.

I like Teddy but he's off his meds here. He's basically wondering why they didn't go CSI on the windshield wiper fluid after a car was blown up with dynamite. Cheating with plaster is a 2 on a scale of 1-10. Removing 75-80% of the weight of the padding is a 15. If you catch a guy removing padding from gloves you hit him with THAT crime. You don't go out and whiz quiz him to see if he's taking elephant growth hormone.

The real shame is that Resto probably got paid for this documentary. Panama is SHOWN demanding cash for this movie. And yet there is the Collins family recieving absolutely nothing but a lost son. I'm sorry but I don't have any sympathy for anyone who knew about this and didn't do the right thing. The Collins family lost money in legal fees, glory, and a son. Who weeps for them? His dad is portrayed as a bad guy but can anyone here blame him? If you lost a son this way what would you do?

jdiffy, Resto himself said in the HBO documentary that he was out to "destroy" Collins that night...not just *win* against him, but *destroy* him. Resto took it to another level with those kind of thoughts in his head and with that kind of crime going on in the ring. I can see why Resto's guilt overwhelms him...watch the whole half-hour fight and the damage Collins sustains in rounds 3-10. I honestly think Resto would have killed him that night if he were a harder puncher.

Atlas is spot on yes Resto admitted to using plaster on his hands when the timing was good. He had 25 years he could of spoke up on this he waited till the Margarito plaster incident to say he also used plaster in his fight with Collins to try to draw attention that otherwise wouldn't be there to the movie being made about Resto's fight with Collins.
