Really like this scene between Tim and Frank.I hated His character before Season Five but I liked how They showed how far He had come along.I loved how Frank seemed genuinely hurt and guilty when He realized that He hadn't noticed Tim's unhappiness.These guys were an amazing partnership

I don't see any scars on Frank Pembleton's head. Did this episode air before or after his stroke? I have Seasons 1-5 on DVD, and I've watched them each twice. I just don't recall this episode.

I do! Freaky broad - loved her with Bayliss. And as far as best cop show EVER that would be The Wire - hands down. Same guy - David Simon - did both Homicide and The Wire and HBO let him put it all out there in a way the regular network wouldn't with Homicide. If you loved Homicide you'll really love The Wire.

Taking into account the era, the channel and the extent they could deal with adult issues, it's without doubt the biggest leap forward in cop shows. Feels really frustrating with people I know asking 'have you seen The Wire yet?'. Have I seen The Wire.....if you are a Homicide nut, you know what I mean...
