by the time i took advertising in the 90's, the only legal way to advertise smoking here in Canada was print ads, no television ads for tobacco allowed. also a no-no were shots of people with cigarettes up to their lips in television shows. the amount of liquor ads i see has also greatly declined.

My dad had the Capitol hi-fi version of this song. He was a huge fan of Glen Gray and this was definitely one of my father's favorite songs!! Thank you for posting it!! It brings back so many wonderful memories!!

I like this version better than the Brunswick. Had the good fortune to meet Clarence Hutchenrider on a few occasions.

I believe this was Glen Gray's theme song. The cigarette ads are incrediable.
