What if we can record but our dvd of the gameplay wont play or even be recognised in our computer, it thinks the dvd is a blank disc, its a DVD-R. Do i need a different kind of DVD? its weird cause the DVD says DVD-R and it says RW in a box seperate area of the actuall Disk...HELP!

For the voice/commentary over thing. Go into your movie editing system. N0w, u have to no if u have a mic built into ur computer. If u don't, then go to ur local retailer and pick one up. They are only about $15 or i would think about 10 pounds. <-- (or watever) Then once u have ur mic, hit recored voice on ur movie editor. (the voice over can also be done on Garage band!)

@Wellbelove96TV Where i live is Toronto, Ontaro Canada.... Over here you can get black DVD's for free.. i got one with 50 of them for only 10 dollars. The 100 one is 17.99 dollars. but why would you need to even buy 100? The point is that a dazzle works... but your DVD player is better.

It can play the DVD and can also record it on tape or DVD.

i do this but do you no how much dvd's cost? even if you use dvd+RW it don't matter because as soon as you have finalized the dvd so you can play it on your PC, then you can't re-write it!

So you spend over £20 for a box of dvd's. Also if you fuck your game play up you have use a new DVD!

DVD+R's= £20 (PLUS HOW MANY YOU USE)

DVD recorder = £200

= £220 + more dvd's

Its cheaper to buy a capture card for £10!

i would still just get a dazzle instead of bying dvd or cd-rom blanks all the time.. in the end the dazzle is cheaper.

and it shouldn't be to hard to put some colurfull cables into an other device(dazzle). But your way works as well :-D

a easier way to explain this dudes is:

1) Plug in your red,yellow, and white whire to your dvd player. ( NOT VCR! )

2)Plug in the power line of the PS3 or any other system to a outlet on a wall.

3) then change the imput channel on the Tv to the channel the DVD is usually on

4) Then when your done that put a blank disk in ( I use dvd, not cd-rom) in DVD player

5) when ready, just press record on what you want to record.

Please reply if this worked out so that i can make a video on it.
