But they were very short lived and if it weren't for that 1 album "Nevermind" they would have just been another band. Bleach & Incesticide did horrible and "In Utero" was a success but a BIG down fall compared to "Nevermind". Even if Kurt didn't die they would have had just one more album & then split. So the way things went would have gone similar anyways because Kurt couldn't handle the public attention.
