  • Am I the only one who thinks that you should replace Brightman with Corelli and add Bjorlin in replacement of Potts?

  • who is the chap in the centre at 2.47

  • the vidoe is ok but sry Paul Pots isnt a real tenor, never ever, the English people push him, becouse he dont have a Classing Sanger.......shame on u england :)

  • FRANCO CORELLI?!?!

  • What a beautiful arrangement of different voices, different styles, of this classic masterpiece. Who over thought of doind this was so talented. Great idea! This soars!! I love them all! Pavoratti would love this..:)

  • Where's that air sickness bag...?

  • Terribile!

  • If you want to hear the real Ultimate Nessun dorma you have to listen to the compilation of the nessun dorma: Vinceró. And in that compilation should be miss Sarah Brightman and miss Izumi Masuda. And at that moment you've the perfect nessun dorma.

  • Complete fuck up of Nessun Dorma! What is this! No offense but honestly have some respect for art!

  • @Chanteuredelopera its called a medley or collage of multiple artists that people love. how is this disrespectful to art????

  • that must be so much effort

    great job!

  • should of censored simon cowell's face but great song still :)

  • you know, i try my best to "hold back" when i post, but seeing simon cowell in this compilation is beyond aggravating. as if the conceited, elitest, miserable human being knows ANYTHING about opera!!! he may have acquired, over the years, "marketing" skills that enable him to identify and nurture potentially successful "popular" artists, but he has NO TRAINING OR EDUCATION that would qualify him as a judge of art music, in any form. without his father, he might never have had a chance.

  • @MrComric well...the operative phrase in your message is "maybe never will be". how about "maybe he could be, if afforded the proper training."? it is very easy to dismiss someone, but dangerous to give him a chance. this man has a wonderful, clear, natural voice that i challenge anyone to deny. yes, he really is more than good enough for that "really low class" (how dare you), and you know what? he is far better than bocelli, who is worshiped as the "bridge" to the common man. BULL!!

  • @MrComric perhaps you don't understand my point. "he isn't an opera singer". that is obvious. does that mean we dismiss him and never give him the chance to study and develop his voice? why? is it too dangerous to admit that someone from a humble background with no access to proper training might be just as talented as those who are "helped" along the way?

  • well...first of all, simon cowell needs to be removed. he deserves no place in any discussion of opera. also, anyone using or (especially) wearing a microphone needs to be removed. lanza has ALWAYS been criticized for not being able to perform on stage, which was not true. so, today, why should we accept anyone whose voice cannot "carry" an orchestra? let's get real, folks

  • y luis veliz??? y tito beltran???

  • wwwaaaaaaaaaaaooooooooooooo!!!!! fantasyic voices

  • This video needs to be revised with Mario Lanza in it.

  • That is great;)

  • so you didnt include lanza but u included paul potts?

    fuck you

  • Hmm, I think Paul Potts holds his own here. It's Sarah Brightman, brilliant as she is that doesn't belong singing this aria. it's for tenors. A female version doesn't fit the opera.

  • i thought the video was bril keep it up

  • wonderful mix of brilliant artists...

  • Very well made, I really like it. And it's fun to see all the people that have sung this song. But I still think that Andrea Bocelli has the best voice. Pavarotti sings the song with so much force but does give it a brilliant ending!

  • Shit the fucking lot of them

  • LOL. ..I'm glad mine isn't included in this mess either. Look for mine on my page. =o)

  • Paul who ?? LOL! I agree! You're getting lots of thumbs up votes! =o)

  • FIvw star nice work kepp it on

  • Indeed it is the ultimate version!

    It raised all my hair

  • Beautiful, just beautiful

  • wonderful!!

  • This aria by Puccini is just awesome! As for the singers, i can tell the difference between a true operatic singer and one who`s not. Nevertheless, Paul Potts did a great job..bravo Paul!

  • what fun you must have had doing this - really enjoyed it..

  • What a joke. Go with the real thing - Franco Corelli.

  • Mario was a must for this.who was the guy in the old black and white?

  • Mario Del Monaco

  • Какой-то сюрреализм, как в дурдоме побывала... Зачем так глумиться над шедевром, не понимаю!

  • I love it, I love it! You're awesome :-)

  • Tantos cantantes y no pones al mejor: Franco Corelli, sin él esta no es la última ni la mejor interpretación de Nessun dorma.

  • We are the world, we are the children

We are the one's who make a better day so let's star giving....!

    opps, not this one, Sooorry!

  • You have a good channel.

  • ¿Qué mamada es esta?

  • I'm pretty sure the ultimate version is already on YouTube... it's the one where Pavarotti sings by himself! lol.

  • I'm glad they included Roy C. Smith; he's awesome.

  • that's really cool!

  • Great work :D

  • Magnificent job!!!

  • ok, I suppose I could look past Paul Potts's inclusion....but Sarah Brightman? The line should be drawn there.

  • Actually they are not either of themselves. They both got sex change surgery so Paul is Sara and Sara is Paul. Both sound like pushed up bassos anyway.

  • Where was the best Calaf..Franco Corelli? Missed one incredible tenor

there. Others would have liked to have

seen Lanza as well. At least they had

Mario Del Monaco which sadly most of

    the "Newbees" know nothing about.

  • You left out Mario Lanza.

  • Believe me, I've had my share of video editing with Premiere...

    An awful lot of work......

    You've done an incredible job!!!!

I, for one, wouldn't have the nerves to take this up!!!

    Bravo!

  • very good mix, thank you!!!!!

  • very nice...thanks ;)

  • Hey, no kidding! This was really, really cool. Great job! This took talent to put together!

  • you forget Jose Cura

  • ha ha ha! dickheads.. so funny!!

  • I'd include Mario Lanza who pioneered the popularity of excellent, operatic tenor vocalization and composers by providing crossover apeal via the movies, along with Placido Domingo, one of the greatest tenors, with among the richest voices, with excellent timber, of all time, along with Placido Domingo - "King of the High "C"s," with his infectious, joyful personality and top notch technique and heart, del Monaco, and a few others. Peebo Bryson's amazing range, powerful voice - with training?

  • Nuts!

I typed "Placido Domingo" twice by accitent.

The list should include: Mario Lanza, Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavaroti, del Monaco, and a few others, with Peebo Bryson as a "I wonder if," for he has a wonderful voice with an amazing range, even throughout, and a great deal of expression. Had he trained for it, I believe he could perform a wonderful rendition of "Nessun Dorma," if he hasn't already done so.

  • great video!!!!

  • GREAT FRIEND I ADMIRE YOUR VISION..

  • It's wonderful that so many people are inspried by Nessum Dorma (equal numbers cannot remember which opera or who wrote it originally) however a testament to Pavorotti and how he popularized opera for new generations - HOWEVEr when Michael bolton level singers aspire to it it's absolutely sad - please leave it to qualified practioneers - not to mention female singers, no offense, but it's a GUYS song... you might as well find a dud to sing " I am woman, hear me now." Please...

  • good job !!!

  • Actually, I find this interesting. Beautiful music and everybody wants to get into the act. Many different singers, maybe 3 or 4 would ever make it onto the stage of a major opera house. What with microphones and all it's easy to be misled, but the montage helps unmask the unworthy. Again, the real singers are the usual suspects. Did you spot del Monaco there in the middle? w3

  • Wow....great video...!!

  • You'll have to do an updated video with Greg Pritchard if he gets to the finals...

  • very creative! and special thanks for the lyrics.

  • wow! simply f*****in amazing video! where did you get all the different clips?

  • Great work!. Very emotional.

  • great job over all i liked it. mario lanza should have been in there.

  • You dont have to eat Spaghetti only to sing, Paul has talent.

  • How is it irritating?

Opera is the best kind if music out there.

Beats Rock and "rap" any day.

  • ma cos'e sta roba????? solo pavarotti puo cantare sta canzone...e sua e solo lui sa trasmettere certe emozioni

  • WOW! Great Video!

  • i agree

  • Should have had Lanza.

  • Excellent Video! Well done

  • This is Pavarotti's song. FOR EVER.

  • So. Where was Mario Lanza?

  • well ... :)

  • Who was the ice skater? SHES FUCKING AMAZING.

  • Excellent job.

  • whats worse than hearing one tenor doing this (despite them all doing it brilliantly)?

hearing 100000 tenors do it at the same time....

  • crap. sucks.

  • ...i brividi... onore all'Italia e a Puccini...

  • well then mikespike i will agree with you....it was good, but being the nephew of an opera tenor does give me the right to be a critic. i've been around opera all my life and to answer a question that will come to mind....yes, i have seen pavarotti and most other tenors perform live and have even met them. my personal favorite? pavarotti of course. but impeto did do a very good job with this-brava' maestro'

  • stop being critics, and appreciate what impeto has done. I, personally, thought it was great. Now his goal wasn't to compare potts to the 3 tenors....you just can't do that lol. so lets all just enjoy the music.

  • This is cool and all, but why didn't you include the Manowar version? Manowar fucking rules!

  • couldn't agree with you more about most of those comments there!

  • Бог ты мой, а Басков тут при чем? Не хочется никого обижать, но парень, хоть и при голосе, однако в классический репертуар ему лучше не соваться. Не дано.

  • wirklich gute Arbeit mate! nice job

  • very nice!!!!!

  • Que manera mas pendeja de hechar a perder una de las arias mas significativas de puccini, idiotas....

  • Pendejo tu, valora el trabajo, es simplemente otra manera de ver el aria. Idiota..

  • and brightman! good god. and bocelli. add corelli bjorling lanza....i mean anyone. jeezz......

  • Good video and using Del Monaco for the No No part is right on since he did it correctly but why on earth did you use Sarah Brightman eww.

  • BYW- sorry, Impeto.......great job! Tks.

  • hmmn...loved the comments!? Just shows the differences between interlect and idiots.People, per-lease...compare apples with apples! Paul Potts did a great job for someone untrained- (lump of coal) and idiots are comparing him to Pavarotti and,(God help) Caruso!! Paul Potts moved people and was the people's choice for his courage and humility- so give the bloke a break - there's no such thing as 'the best' - the best is always yet to be -so let's appreciate all.

  • muy buen trabajo de edicion excelente

  • Very good job!!

  • What an amazing bit of work. Thanks for the effort, and thanks for the post. Fascinating.

  • wow I'm impressed who'd-a-thought to make something like this thankyou ! thoroughly enjoyed that .

  • I think I get it.

Its a great video anyway and brilliantly edited.

  • you rock man....what a great job you have done by mixing all these, showing how many people have really used this song to become legends...

keep it up...i am going to sing a version soon...do add me in the sequel...

btw, i am surprised, so less views...c'mon people..appreciate the effort...

  • who is the men at 1:15 he is on black and white.

  • He is Mario Del Monaco, one of the greatest dramatic tenors who lived, and the only one here worth watching.

  • Dont forget Jose Cura, Roberto Alagna & Ronaldo Villazon

  • great job buddy

  • Just the fact that Sarah Brightman did this song is just...agh I fuckin hate it. Not to be sexist but the lyrical content of thissong is too heroic and needs a deep voice.

  • Fantastic!!!

    Do you do this professionally?

  • bravo!

  • where is lanza???????

  • my thought exactly. Lanza should have definately been included in this

  • Nice video, good job Spieldberg

  • Very clever! hehe

  • wow! pretty good!!

  • This was very, very well edited. Well done. This song is awesome.

  • you should go die in a very dark, deep hole because noone will miss you

  • go to hell loser

  • I loved it. Thank you.

  • What a nice idea! Thank you! :)

  • whos that at 0:42? I recognize every1 but him. idk why his face makes me laugh

  • forte!but you are italian?

  • with all respect for this fine musicians...it s a diference betwenn bjoerling singinging and others singin...All are great .But afew of them are the greatest...Of course no one can bit lanza passion, and bjoerling technique...Del monaco is ok, but i think he is not in the list of the greatest tenors...he came from the baritonal word and used a special techique, that s well known....Caruso was rhe first real opera tenor...thats why all give him the first place...

  • That was cool. Good job on the editing.

  • I don't understand why people are fighting on here about who's the best when they are apparently placed together. They sound great as a group, do they not? You have lows and highs mixed. I don't know much about musical vocabulary such as tenor and alto, etc. But, I can still say with my ears they were great together.

Brava![bravo?] to the Impeto. You rawk as always.

  • sorry for spelling mistakes steal etc etc

  • you can still all our other cultural achievements and claim them aS your own but this is something that only an italian soul can produce. Amen to that

  • What about Jussi Bjorling.

  • I'm sorry you deluded if you think people who aren't of Italian or southern european soul can sing like the true kings. One only has to look at Caruso, Lanza and Pavarooti to see this. You can still all our other shit but you won't still the greatest voice fact ! dream on sei stupido che mai visto

  • I highly disagree, and I think your view is very narrow-minded. Just because you are Italian does not mean you have the best singers for the genre. In fact, Paul Potts sings this the best out of any person I've ever heard. Granted Pavoratti and others are great, but Paul Potts has a beautiful and endearing voice, and when he sings Nessun Dorma I get teary everytime.

  • Are the people who invented Opera, piano, violin, and musical notation still around? No. Just because you are Italian does not automatically make you the best at music compared to every other country. Nowadays, the world is equal in musical ability now and has been for hundreds of years, so now talent and dedication matter. So enough with this nationalstic ignorance...

  • Caruso died before the opera was written.

  • IDIOT

  • What does that mean?

  • While Opera may be an Italian invention, one cannot deny that one of opera's greatest composers is Mozart.

  • I agree he was great. One of the greatest definetly. Let's not underestimate the power of Vivaldi either. I agree Bjorling was good. However it really is an open ended point. However I still believe Caruso to be the greatest. Just listen to Nessun Dorma with his voice

  • Caruso died before the aria was written!

  • please type in nessun Dorma and Caruso on Google

  • I did that. It was Beniamino Gigli singing the aria. Also, I have the complete recordings of Caruso, which even has extra takes.

  • What idiot means.... ok, let me explain:

Enrico Caruso (Nápoles, 25 de febrero de 1873 - 2 de agosto de 1921)

    IDIOT!

  • Nessun Dorma was composed about 1924.

  • Although on some records it may not show...Tucker was probably the best tenor after Caruso...if you hear some live recordings of him, you can pick out the power behind that voice, it's overwhelming. His upper register was larger than Corelli's even, and neck to neck with del Monaco's...but what truly sets him apart from the other two is how he handled his enormous voice: it was unbelievably easily and lightly produced, with the vocal agility of a leggere tenor...perfect trills, cadenzas, etc.
