7 and 8 are okay films at best since they rely on Kane Hodder's performance alone, but the series should have ended with this film. Jason comes full circle and is once again trapped at the bottom of Crystal Lake.

This was the first film in the series I actually hated. I thought Part 1 - 5 were all good, but this one was just meh. Part 7 wasn't much better. Part 8 was terrible. JGTH sucked. JX sucked. I think Part 6 would have been better had the story not been so fucking goofy and tongue in cheek. Had they tried to make it more serious and not so stupid, it would have been great.

"Jason Lives" is one of my favorite "Friday the 13th" movies as well. I like the first one, don't get me wrong, but "The Final Chapter, "The New Blood," and "Jason Lives" are the definitive "Friday" movies in my opinion.

Friday the 13th (named like that cuz at June 13th, is Jason's Birthday) was realeased in 1980, and every year (with the exception of 1982 and 1987), they released a sequel. So that means this song is from 1986. This song was freaking awesome back then.
