I love your travelogues, but I have one wee question relating to this one - why oh why did you decide to change in the car park in the freezing cold? Personally, I would have changed in the conference centre's toilets...slightly more private, and a wee bit warmer too! Anyway, keep the vids coming...
That is a very good question. Of course I was in Germany so the toilets would have been nice and clean and that would have been perfectly possible. The truth is I did not think of it. My standard practice is to drive a short way then change. (Of course I do not remove my underwear in public!!!)
It's a long time since I went to Nuremburg with my family - that was back in 1979, and we stayed in a hotel cant remember which one it was - I was about 9 or 10 then we had a 2.8 Ford Granada Estate and we used to go to Austria, via Felixstowe, then to Zeebrugge in Belgium, then to Aachen in Germany, and we visited Innsbruck - it wqas about 2,000 miles or so and on the way back from Austria the car overheated - due to the thermostat.
Very nice. The exit at 7:24 is "my" exit, to my home.
