Shame the keyboard controls and sound let this down. Didn't the makers consider using the 128k sound capabilities? Perhaps it may have slowed down gameplay or something. Great graphics though

@LoLzZ85 The Amstrad CPC version had the same music as the ZX beeper. I don't know how the fuck did they do it. Maybe System 3 only cared about the C64.

I remember some kid in school who brought in a ZX spectrum magazine in was going on about the graphics.How those small memories never fade:)

wow i wasted half my childhood playing this, it's an absolute classic, so difficult though with no continues, that boat bit took me about 3 weeks. i like the way he just repeatedly kicks people in the bollocks at first, then moves on to poking them in the eye with a stick.

I didnt think he was a ninja back then because of the role it was set in..he looked like he was a Cat burgler..

i used to play this for hours when i was a kid about when i was 6 and i actually completed it xD..

spectrum had difficulty with movement, while on commodore it was smoother. Thou graphics I always loved Spectrum style ;)

Great game, the best! but the c64 version is very better than spectrum.

thanks for posting this video. this was one of my fave games ever, but i could never ever pass the first level, the stupid boat was the bit i could never pass. after all these years i get to see more of this game. thanks once again and keep up the good work.

I like the way the lifebars look, makes anice colorful adition to an otherwise very grayscale game. Overall the graphics are really nice. Really goes to show what you can do with just 2 colors :)
