your reed might be too wet or too dry...and try unattaching the barrel with the mouth piece and reed, still attached, and blow threw the barrel to get some of the spit out.

P.S

your embouchure needs time to develop.make sure your using the right embouchure or it will screw you up later.

CHECK THE LEVEL REED YOUR USEING. THE VANDOREN BRANDS ARE(IN MY OPINION) THE BEST

Good fingerplay! You should train on your tone. Play long tones when you warms up and remember to not use your teath to keep the clarinet in your mouth. Good playing:)

Pretty good dude. I am also in the 8th grade band and also play the clarinet. And just as crunchy said, everyone thats talking trash about this should try playing it. I have it right in front of me and im trying to get to where I can play it in the talent show and its really quiet hard so whoevers talking trash about it, go print it off and try it for yourself, mabey than youll know how hard it is...but Im doing pretty good on it so its not impossible I guess...lol:)

Hm try to keep reed always wet at all the time. If you do leave your clarinet alone and come back play you should switch to a plastic one so you dont have to warm it.Just to slur a little more on some of the notes.
