  • ...wtf

  • EXACTLY that much water!!!!!! I was waiting for you to jump up and down on the plastic bottle!!!! I LOVE how you demistify what we do XD!!!!! I'm alittle lost seriously though. Are you trying to encase the picture in a thin glue layer and thats why your doing so may layers? LOVE that your back Bro:) We are PRIVILAGED!!!!!:)

  • at the craft store you could buy Mod Podge (Decu Podge) and itd serve the same purpose with MUCH less time.

It actually is quite stiff once it drys, i just did a mock up with some like... magazine pages and stuff and was surprised at how sturdy it was.

but yea, watered down glue is easy!

    good work mah'man

  • Ah, but this is only part one.

I'm attempting a decal. The thin, transparent, stick on your model type.

After the layering I need to soak it in water and peel the paper from the back and ..next vid.

I had forgotten all about Decu Podge.

  • to be honest, i actually thought you were saying "Decu" the whole time, but it was just a difference in pronunciation for "Decal." hahaha

Yea, im actually waiting to see how this project turns out, custom decals would be sweet!

  • I almost have the reconstruct done on the websites. I have ads/notices for your site on them. They are not up yet but will be soon(ish).

Meanwhile, any hobby geeky type terrain or diorama making types who work with foams for their buildings should go and check out Carlo's website at hot wire foam cutter info (all one word) dot com.

(hotwirefoamcutterinfo a dot and then com) and go easy on him over the perspective in the vector graphics. It takes many friggin' hours to do. nyuk nyuk

  • yarrrrrrrr thanks thar steve :)

thanks for the shout, lookin forward to the adverts :)

  • i like the tuxedo vest in the background!

  • I won it a dozen years ago from Universal. It is the vest (official licence ltd.copy of yadda yadda) Bruce Willis wore in one of his earlier movies, can't remember which one. My wife say's it was Last Man Standing.

  • are you kidding me right now? i love that f*cking movie.. its one of the few remakes of Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo. Among the list of remakes are "A fist full of dollars" by clint eastwood, the warrior & the sorceress (david carradine), Luck Number Sleven (bruce willis & josh hartnett)

i am JEALOUS that you have that, hahah, but at least it is in good hands

  • Precision measurement thy name is Kamloopian!

  • DEKULZ lol, great vid Kamloopian

  • Did you ever think of just scanning the image into your compurter and printing it out on decal paper. Its fast, easy and you can scale the image to what ever size you need.

  • WTF? I didn't say ANYTHING about that!

  • Clicked on the wrong reply button probably.

...Decal paper only works if you can afford the friggin' ink cartridges (colour ones to boot).

I have a b/w laser printer. I just couldn't justify the cost of the ink jet anymore. I don't know if the transfer films even work on lasers.

  • Have you tried them? I have seen them but have never given them a go.

And never be discouraged by WTF's heck I get them all the time.
