I just made this for breakfast and it was SUPER DELICIOUS!!!! I left out the mint as I did not have any and use a frozen banana instead of ice. I also added a Tbs. of ground flax seed. The basil is fantastic in it. Thanks Jane and pesto12601...please share more recipes pesto...we already know Jane's are tasty....THANKS!
Wow! I'm famous!! :) - Thx Jane for trying my recipe and posting a video of it... it is my go to smoothie and a great way to get my daughter to drink her greens! I have also substituted Kale for the spinach and even added in parsley (just a touch - it is strong) at times when the garden has lots. Glad you and Tanner enjoyed it!! This is great -I love fresh basil but it goes bad so quickly... now this recipe will enable to use it up quickly. BTW - Tana is adorable :)
