    also, the true sikh kirtan rabab has a warm mellow tone that resonates deeply, I play rabab myself as well. Although they come in many different shapes and sizes, i assure you this is a rabab. sarod sounds completely different, almost like a guitar without frets, but its not

  • Brother singh, i am a rabab player myself. I dont think if this one looks or sounds anything like the rabab, Unless there is a u guys play a diffrent kind of rabab, donno. i am sure u can the rabab in related videos.

  • @arbaz1221 yes. it is different. im sure you play the afghani rabab as we call it. and we play that too, but this the traditional Punjabi rabab. so it is different but not as much as other instruments differ like a sarod or sarangi.
