  • The old doctor in the plaid coat with the smoking pot at the table in the inn: I am quite sure he played the pawn shop owner in A Christmas Carol (the Alistair Sim version). When Scrooge looks into the future, he sees his servants pawning off his belongings, and the pawn shop owner makes them angry by giving them paltry sums of money for what they stole.

  • I did. still dosent change a thing. how many went into the theater expecting to see Drac but were disapointed.

  • "Are you in love with him?"

    "Yes, I am."

YOU JUST MET HIM, YOU SLATTERN!

  • Anyone notice that Hammer uses the same actors in just about all of their films, just playing different parts? The one thing that never changed is that Christopher Lee always played the "hunted" and Peter Cushing was always the "hunter"... love it all just the same!

  • LOL !! Celticlofts don't worry I am Funeral Director Ass't, and trust me they won't hurt you !!! HA HAAAH HAAAAAA HHAAAAAAA !!! ☺

  • The village doctor is Mr. Bean's grandfather.

  • "What did she die from doctor?"... ummmm, the two holes perforated in her neck perhaps? :P

  • those rebel sum.

  • so thrilling i loving this movie

  • hes soooooo drunk! hahahaha! not to mention totally high! XD

  • Can believe this is the last film of the actor who plays the baron vampire?

  • @calvingmail and he is soooo hot!!!!

  • A coffin made of cedar wood? I'd heard cedar keeps moths away, but vampires?

  • Is there a scene where Van Helsing drives a stake through the Baroness's heart?

  • @cupcake101 there is, but for some reason it's been cut out. I remember seeing it on TV in both ways (with and without the scene), so...maybe for time's sake?

  • @cupcake101 I guess they left that to your imagination :-P

  • Doctor....:-You clericals with your monoLITHIC superstitions-(not belief's) and that peasant woman with her TROGLODYTE indifference ---never realized Hammer did COMEDY !!! He's a tonic himself that Doctor !!!

  • I tell ya, If I witnessed a lock falling off a coffin, all you'd see of me is arse and elbows out the door..

  • @celticlofts you and me both!! :)

  • @celticlofts - (LOL) I was thinking the same thing!

  • Is that Nyquil the doctor is pouring into the bowl? lol

  • Nah I don't think it was Nyquil, I don't think it was around at the time ..maybe some hocus pocus remedy for stupidity.. evidently it didn't work. lol

  • @celticlofts yeah that guy works my nerves!

  • Van Helsing is incredibly sauve

  • Will come with me for free and I can put it on my bill, it's worth a try anyway.. I'm going to try that next week at work..

  • The doctor (not Van Helsing) is hilarious! :D

  • yeah, i'm in that waiting line too.

  • I was wondering why is it when they talk that there lips dont match

  • Love the disappointed look on Van Helsing's face when Marianne claims she loves the Baron. I think he had a thing for her too :)

  • @JoelandtheBots No, that`s wrong. Doc is only alarmed when the lass reveals the name of her groom. He is pleased to hear the news she is to marry.

  • @JoelandtheBots More like him having a thing for the Baron as he was still calm when she said she was engaged to be married.

  • Miles Malleson is hilarious as the comic relief.

  • my mom was such a hypochonriac. she should have met this dude..they would have made a wonderful pair..lol

  • Watching these great movies reminds me of staying up late to watch Z 17 out of Nashville, I think it was chiller theatre or something like that. Todays horror movies are really lacking compared to these classics. Nice to be reminded of it I hope some younger Saw generation horror fans see what a true masterpiece is.

  • so why is the name 'dracula' used if neither dracula (christopher lee) appears and is not mentioned?

  • the Baron von Hottie was a disciple of Dracula and as such carried on His bloodline

  • meh. its not as if he was turned by dracula himself though.

they just used the name dracula to get attention.

  • @deadman00 Cashcow franchise.

  • pretty much.

  • Looks like some scenes got cut out between parts 6 and 7. I remember the Baron attacking the dark-haired girl at the academy, and Van Helsing dispatching the Baroness.

  • This type of horror film is where the characters should throw rationality and logic out of the window

  • why?
