@rayj778 I want a doggy snack. The Corvette has 405 HP which I might add was proven to be underrated 20 HP by Chevy. Dyno tests have shown it has 425 HP. So the IS350 is 306 HP with a supercharger which if I remember only added 40 HP. So really the Corvette being about 300 pounds lighter and more HP should still rape the IS350, well by statistics anyway. Real life is different as usual when domestics vs imports.

Strangely the IS's time is really no better than stock, which makes me question the charger...either it's not there or it's pretty much useless...mid 13's at 104 is right about where the mags have put em with no mods. But if you watch closely, the Vette is closing the gap noticeably at the end of the run. The IS is just an ace out of the hole due to efficient gearing and nice, linear power curve. Given a few more feet of track the Z06 would have overtaken it.

this looks like a stock IS350 to me. 104 mph is not out of the realm for an IS350 with no mods. Also, you should notice the Vette was seriously gaining on the IS near the end of the run and was going 10 mph faster...he just got a lame start. The 350 is a great drag car because of how efficiently it puts the power down, but that Vette would have no trouble beating it from a roll.

@MattSnellLexus mate ive been in the same boat as you for a long time, its gona cost me alot of money to do a 2gr motor. ive heard somewhere in aus theres a 1000hp 2gr aurion. and theres a 2gr buggy with twin turbos putting out 600kw at the flywheel@ 18psi stock bottom. i reckon the 2gr because ull have more useful power at lower rpm. but if ur intending to go over 900kws.. just go 2jz. theres no cheap way out of trying to twin turbo or supercharge a 2gr, but if u got the cash DO IT
