in the game when sora and friends got he the other twilight town or as Sora puts it Roxas' Twilight Town, they go through this portalof darkness and they come to an area, can't remember what it is called, but there Sora, Donald and Goofy fight some nobodies till Axel shows up. they side with each other, then Axel puts his 'whole being' into an attack and he disappears. it's really sad!!!
