  • Roney is the best !!! i love the way you teach english ! chosen topics are awesome

  • Good video, however, you keep saying pronounciation when it should be pronunciation. "nun" not "noun" Sorry I'm so picky./prəˌnʌnsɪˈeɪʃ(ə)n/ cheers

  • past participle of run is run

  • Thank you so much

  • In the Anglocelt Isles, some people go on to third level education. They study law and are called to the bar.

Some of them get called to the wrong sort of bar!!

  • Even "educated" people as well as educated people say "for free" instead of "free". And don't ask them what an Abbreviation Mark is. They wouldn't know or even care. And those apostrophes have gone out the window. Pity some of these people haven't gone out with them!

  • Why do people say "for free" when it should be "for nothing" or even "free"?????

Then they ask "Is he for real?" instead of "Is he real?"

HOW DO YOU GET THROUGH TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T BELIEVE IN EDUCATION IN THE FIRST PLACE?

  • why don't use run > ran > run ? help me pls. thank you. :)

  • @LTN000 I know how you feel-I am a native English speaker, but still ended up watching this! GRRR.... (In a weird way, its sort of interesting). I guess she's a good teacher.

  • 'I feel my unconscious merge', shouldn't it be 'merges'?! HELP ME!

  • @BGFGR No, "feel" is the verb in the sentence.

  • @EnglishLessons4U But why 'merges' is withous 'es'? Why?

Thanks

  • شكرا لكم على الافادة والمجهودات

  • @gelflingy I think when pronouncing, we using "of" for easy understanding, but when writing, it should be "should've" like when you say "have" very fast and have the short "'ve". It's just my opinion.

  • It is nice to know we all make mistakes and you are so gracious to admit it.

You are the type of teacher I want to learn from. You are teaching us how to correct mistakes and I get that.

Thank You for sharing. You are the best!

  • It should have been RUN ;)

  • @gelflingy yeap.u r right't.

  • @gelflingy bro. She was jst talking about pronounciation.NOt actually we use "of".

  • i like your handwriting style. very clear.

  • The p.p of TO RUN is RUN and not RAN as in the video.

  • about*

  • i think she was very amazing beauty

  • FIRST OF ALL, A REGRET IS NOT A MISTAKE. A REGRET IS HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT HAVING DONE OR NOT HAVING DONE SOMETHING IN THE PAST.

A MISTAKE IS SOMETHING YOU DO. A REGRET IS HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT WHAT YOU DID.

    HER INITIAL DEFINITION IS INCORRECT.

  • question to teatcher . Where are you from? Becase you musnt be an English.

  • great video...clear and concise :)

  • and Ms. English Teacher, it can be confusing to the learners when you use "should of" cos that's grammatically wrong. and we have another choice to write by using short forms like "should've", which is way better than "should of" which can make learners confused and is wrong grammatically as well. :)

  • oh, haha.. Mr. English Teacher, you are wrong. the past participle of "run" is "run", not "ran". "ran" is only for the simple past tense. YOU SHOULD OF STUDIED WELL!!! :)

  • I don't believe in grammar.I think you don't need to study grammar to learn any Language!

Having said that,i think there's no time to think abt the grammar rules when you're speaking the language .Oh is this past tense, participle, present, future. It happens so fast and automatically.Grammar will make you strutter and stammer. It will ruin you fluency in Language!

Just learn English in a natural way like an infant do.By listening to foreigners and practicing it!I bet you'll speak fast one day asido

  • She is making mistake while writing run ran and ran. Actually it is run ran run. She is stupid. Don't trust her.

  • woah lol check this website contestofthecentury com Check on contest and win a laptop.

send it to your friends please if u want to, regards!

  • I lake to know inglish

  • Don't use the word "of" to represent the pronunciation of "should have" because it is a real word and gives the wrong impression. Use the sound spelled as "uhv" or "ov."

Only a hillbilly or school dropout actually says "should of" when they mean "should have." The actual sound should be more guttural or throaty than the word "of." It is almost said like a contracted "should have."

  • @higgme1ster i went to high school in one of the most wealthy cities in the USA, a Boston suburb, and you would be amazed how many graduates say "should of".....and confuse "then and than"....but then again it was a public school. When I went to the private catholic schools they would crack your skull if you used "lazy english"

  • @inkey2 I can not believe that. Yankee people confusing "then" and "than". I am from Brasil, and we obligate to learn that as the most elementar thing ever.

  • @AdesivoColado I see the "then & than" confusion on a daily basis here in the USA, either in print or verbally. The public school systems in the USA have gone way down in the last 30 years due to a number of things.....powerful teachers unions make it near impossible to fire bad teachers, the disintergration of the poorer inner city schools, cities, states and towns going broke, the proliferation of using "slang" instead of proper english....the USA is pretty much colapsing

  • @inkey2 OH! Even though, I'm probably going to live in US next year to study at the university and improve my English. However, don't worry about the "slangs", our today propoer language is the result of improper language from the past. So, chill out lol ::)

  • She must be from Canada or Scotch-Irish from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

The "OU" diphthong is a dead givewaway.

  • I am interested be English speaking >

I am not good in speaking English > I am trying to be very good in speaking

  • if SHOULD is used for it so whai is the use of MUST?

  • why do you use gone? why can't we use went? im confused :/ when do we use past participle and when do we use past tense??? someone??

  • @hotguylover619 you MUST use the past participle when talking about regrets in the past! you cannot say I should have went....it is wrong!

  • @EnglishLessons4U umm lady, i live in the usa and, well lets put it this way, you CAN use i shouldn't have went to the bar, my language arts teacher says that and teaches that, so hotguylover619 if u are in the usa u can use went

  • @EnglishLessons4U hello madam can u tell anything how to improve english grammer and english usage problems?

  • @hotguylover619 since " went " is already past tense, basically " I shouldn´t have went " means " I shouldn´t have gone gone "

  • GREAT

  • so i should say "I should of studied" right? but what happens if i say "I should have studied" is that ok? or i always have to say "i should of"

  • @vjjs94 you can say it both ways, they both work

  • @vjjs94 you can say both! Should of is just how natural English speakers say it!

  • @EnglishLessons4U Saying "I should of" is improper English, and makes no sense. Only "I should HAVE" is correct...

  • @vjjs94 "I should have studied" is much better then saying "I should of studied!"

  • Thank you, you are great!

  • my grammar is not good.i think so.and i need to learn this a lots

  • Your explanation was excellent, but I thimk that you should have brought an eraser and avoid making those weird sounds wuth your mouth.. anyway you did it well... congratulation...

  • Every time I watch such a video, I see how much my English has improved over the last few years. You have a strange accent, where are you from?

I certainly don't REGRET watching this video, but it's incredibly boring to me. I'm already far beyond this, but it's nice to know that there are people willing to teach English to others. Keep going.

  • @Kreloar I am from Canada.

  • @EnglishLessons4U

Past participle of run is run, not ran. You should have watched it again before publishing.

  • @tosendprashan yeah I know.....you should have watched the end of the video.

  • @Kreloar I feel mostly the same, it seems too boring to me cuz I had my bachelor in English & I fed up with analyzing sentences and textbook exercises.. I never though of regret as a grammar rule but still it's good thing to know. BTW, I speak very well but when think of such of these ruls I get completely confused. So I strongly suggest to speak Freeeeeeeely .. are u agree?
