lights go out, then ecstasy starts up...slowly building and creating an energy in the venue

the intro tape to blackened means youre so close to what youve been waiting for...then after a sudden stop, and seemingly out of nowhere james begins to play the main riff at lightning speed, followed by lars' thundering drum beats, until the entire band smashes in your face

todays bands could learn a thing or two from this...

Metallica was at their best during the 80's and early 90's. Now don't get me wrong S&M was ok same with Death Magnetic. But St Anger in my opinion wasn;t all that great. I'm sure some of you people wouldn't agree with me on what I sad about Death Magnetic and S&M. but the 80's and 90's is when Metallica were at their best. I'm still a big fan of them. This was one of the very first songs that I've heard from metallica. My cousin first introduced me when i was 6. Metallica kicks ass!
