it's better to be an observer if you are within a community with other culture. most mainland chinese doesn't know how to speak english because in their sorrounding it is not essential. it does not make them inferior to others just different. if you want to deal with a japanese businessmen then one must learn niponggo not him taking english lessons. it's a matter of understanding others. they say filipinos can deal with both east & west cultures, yes...it's because of our adulterated culture.
