How do you like the SG for the Texas blues SRV thing? I'm in the process of buying one, I've been playing strats for ever and got a good deal on this one.
@greasegat well to get the proper sound you need a strat. when i'm at home i tend to play everything with a rock sound. i set my amp up so i have a twangy, slightly over driven sound on 1 channel, a more overdriven mid crunchy sound on channel 2 then an overdrive pedal to push channel 2 into distortion for lead work. The way it is in the video is probably a bit rock sounding, but then again SRV used 2 tube screamers sometimes i think.
