TV is regulated and manages to deliver sound journalism, unlike the sensationalism that daily appears on the pages of the red-tops. The press has demonstrated it's inability to regulate itself.

Part of democracy is accepting views that are contrary to your own and recognising that all are entitled to say (largely) what they wish.
