@slimepuke I replaced the hydraulic lifters (tappets/ lash adjusters) when I renovated the cylinder head earlier this year and that solved the problem. Just some noise when the engine was first started after 82 days of silence and haven't heard any noise since then (~1000km)
No failure but it didn't solve my problems with "ticking" lifters. They are probably worn after 99 419 miles. (About 160 000 kms at the time of the flush).
@steifan jag skrapade rent oljekanalerna till lyftarna på min som koksat igen totalt och den har inte tickat efter det och mina lyftare har garanterat gått längre än 16000 mil :)
you need more of those additives then to take it to a real nice mechanic shop

Hi, you need to replace the oil pump pickup tube o rings to stop the ticking.

@steifan I've read numerous times that transmission fluid running through the engine can free up stuck lifters.
