@MrSupermariotrevor What do you mean downplay his abilities? His abilities aren't downplayed, he's a human. In Teen Titans, which is nothing like the comics by the way, he was basically doing anything he wanted. There is no way Robin can kick/punch Cinderblock and knock him out, but he did that in the Teen Titans cartoon.
He has no super powers, none. He's a gymnast with boomerangs and rope.
@MrSupermariotrevor In fact, the one who isn't living up to his potential is Kid Flash, he is technically the strongest member on the team but he doesn't seem to be moving to fast most of the time. It's the same problem they had in the Justice League cartoon. They have to downplay some of the heavy hitters so they can have drama. In this episode for instance, he could have run around the guy dismantling him at several times the speed of sound, but the fight would have been over in two minutes.
Cool, wish they didn't downplay robin's abilities in this show though. He was stronger in Teen Titans.
