And we wonder why the Welfare/Entitlement mentality is ruining America. @RothdeMan Yeah, well, who's to say the fabulously rich corporate ELITE actually earned all their money? My theory is that the majority of it was obtained through exploitation of their workers (the people who actually produce the wealth), lying and graft, or inheritance. What you mistakenly refer to as redistribution is actually re-redistribution back into the hands of those who did all the work. Scratch a rich man and you'll find a thief under the thin veneer of respectability.

I know many entrepreneurs who drive clunkers, and have no choice but to live within their means because the profit that they make each year needs to go back into the company in the form of cap expenditures. Common sense. Plain & simple. You can't run a country, or a state for that matter, with such a complex economy & millions of citizens without revenue! 1% of our population controls 80% of our common wealth with the real middle class, comprised of the 9% just below the 1% previously mentioned, controlling 5% of the wealth which leaves 15% for the other 90% of us to divide amongst ourselves. The working class, 40% of us, controls 14% of the measly 15% which leaves 1% to support the poor.
