my pc still didnt come yet, i hope, i didn't regret on that power supply

  • @EvoMitsubishiLancer I hate to bring bad news but at some point your probably going to want to replace that power supply...Im in the exact same boat as you I got a 700 watt Xtreme and im waiting for my computer to arrive. I read some pretty awful reviews on those power supplies, from being Unstable, to having a chance of frying other PC parts, ETC. Not all of them are bad but theres a very high chance it will fail down the road. Best thing to do upgrade to corsair :(

  • @EvoMitsubishiLancer I got a AMD Quad core, 8 gigs of DDR3/1600Mhz, ATI 6870 1Gb video card. So its pretty much a midrange-highend machine and should be perfect for my 23 inch monitor. But yeah I definately think i will get the 800 watt incase i want to put another 6870 in there down the road.

  • @sealfate138 yeah you should in the future.......when the 6870 price drop...so it wont be a watse of $.........what was ur total?........my computer in ''Final Quality Control date'', i just check my status.....

  • @EvoMitsubishiLancer mine was 900 about with the xtreme 700 watt. If i got a corsair instead probably 950-1000

  • @sealfate138 i used a coupon code (5% Discount)....from some site...Grand Total was $1,127.65 + Free Shipping and i have 2 free things from Rebate(94$)---------$1,127.65 - $94.........my total would actually be........$1033.65

  • nice pc bro

  • You should have spent a little more in your gpu 6870 1gb isn't that good you should have gone with a gtx 580 or at least a 580

  • how much it ?

  • im buying a pc but ive already got a disk for windows 7. but if i dont choose an option for operating system it says NONE - FORMAT HARD DRIVE ONLY(NO OVERCLOCKING AVALIABLE)>????? what does this mean? does it mean i can just wack a cd and run vista or something? please help

  • @drummerboy7227 No overclocking available means that you can't overclock the CPU aka make it run faster than intended. You only really want to overclock if you are some server hoster not really important ya know? Anyway Its good you can install windows yeah.

  • apearently before went to futureshop and best buy and what not they didn't do a good job at all on their PC's and sometimes people wouldn't even get their PC AT ALL!!!

  • i am fuckin pissed off already and i dont have my pc yet. it said the estimated ship date would be the 29th and now they sent and email saying it will take 5 weeks to receive my pc. i mean cmon thats fuckin rediculous i can drive to where they are located with the amount of money i spent on the shitty shipping.

  • Your system is almost exactly the same as the one I'm getting O.O except Ive got the 6850 and not an SSD.

  • How long did cyberpower take to deliver? I ordered on thanksgiving to grab the black friday deals and put the 3 day shipping on it. Ive seen some crazy stories about delivery time but i want my new rig already lol

  • What model is this? Im currently looking for a good computer.

  • quick question, did you get all the disks to install drivers? just wondering cuz i want to order a pc without an operating system.

  • @switchblade1291 I believe CyberPowerPC has a section "Download Drivers" and it will link you to the right direction, but still you should be getting all the disks in the package. Still might want to download latest updates on them anyways.

  • Should I get water cooling? I'm scared that in the long run out would be better to get air cooled

  • @Krylancelo2 Whats bad about water cooling? I dont know anything about it, but cuberpower has it on specil this holyday and want to get it. Does it need any maintenence?

  • hey can you play battlefield 3 on it?

  • @smallmoth31 Yeah, but I don't think he can max it out.

  • @NotSoFailuyr i dont want to sound stupid but what do you mean max it out

  • @smallmoth31 I'm assuming your a console gamer if you don't know what that means (nothing wrong with that). On PC videogames, because everyone has different video cards, theres are different video settings (Ultra, High, Medium, Low) then you can customize it (Shadows, AA, etc.) to get better picture. These do this to maximize FPS (frames per second, or the fluidity of the game). Xbox games run at 60 FPS (halo though runs at 30 I believe) and a movie theater movie runs at 24 FPS.

  • @smallmoth31 Maxing it out just means that you get the max in every setting on ultra while keeping 60+ FPS usually. (check other post of mine if you didn't already see it)

  • I spent 7800 on this because I got expensive features and I am not gonna list them

  • does cyberpower have all of the drivers installed when you get the computer?

  • @mattymatt6504 you're suppossed to download the latest drivers, NOT FROM THE CD. they can't have them installed if they didn't fully install windows for u...durr

  • i am going to buy this is it worth the money

  • Umm Did the rig come already assembled or did you have to do it by your self later on?

  • did it arrive already set up? or do u have to assemble it urself?

  • windows 7? does it come with it? plz tell!

  • @whitepigeonup84 yes you can customize it and you get windows 7 as an add on ( you do have to buy it)

  • Hey dude, I got my new computer yesterday and everything seems to be working fine, but I got one question, does the asetek cooling system make a motorish sound on your computer, I can here my making this sound, it's not to loud but I can still hear it, is this normal?

  • one ig question im ying from them and i wana know do u haev to put actual water in it LOL i know nothing about gaming comps o_o

  • Hmm I don't know if I should just max out all my options for a beast computer or get mostly default settings and then just upgrade parts after I get the computer because the one that I have picked out now is a really good one but is almost $3,000

  • what kind of fishbowl was this recorded with

  • Also are those the default case fans or did you upgrade and if you upgraded can you tell me what fans you got.

  • You said you got "8GB (2GBx4) DDR3/1600MHz (Kingston HyperX)" Can you give me some advice, I'm getting the same sticks, the kingston hyperX, but i'm not sure whether I should get 4GBx2 or 2GBx4 can you tell me which is better and why?

  • @coconuts623 you should get 4gb by 2 because then you have 2 more free ports which means you can add more ram if you need it later.

  • You wear glasses and you're still squinting.. Lol

  • Is the motherboard good for gaming ?

  • How is your computer doing two months later?

  • i could tell that you were nervous.

  • Is this motherboard good ?

  • is this mother board reliable because i was thinking of getting a good bundle with this motherboard included and a few people have experienced problems with it and i dont want to waste my money

  • @mustanggtxps3 It has a warranty, and no motherboard is completely reliable. Some brands are better than others and thats all.

  • @BryanTeath

I was posting under another handle in that forum, search for "Sylgian"

  • @gsterley They did register it, its on the side of the tower lol.

  • Man, I really want my CyberPower, but I'm not willing use a credit card online. I've checked with Bestbuy, and they have a pre-built model available, but it's availability is "Online only"... Sigh

  • Make another video please?

  • @tesaga I will try and make some time for a follow-up video now that the system is running and in its permanent home on my desk. In the mean time I have no problems to report. The only issue I had was in the form of some missing toolless clips for my case. I sent an email and I am glad to report they clips arrived a few days ago.

  • @gsterley Should of just got a ssd for $50 more lol haha just for 50$ more you would of have a vertex 3 max iops with 550mb of read speed 500mb of write speed and 120gb you fail thats what you get for not building your own system ahahaha rip off!

  • @gsterley I bought a desktop and I am very frightened with the horrible reviews. But I am glad that all of the videos I've seen on Youtube that review them have been good. For someone who knows very little about putting together a computer can you give me some tips on what to check before I boot up my computer? I probably can't identify any faulty wiring.

  • @gsterley did u click the window when u buy like when u buy and they ask u want what kind of window and did u click it

  • I'm getting that same exact motherboard. How do you like it so far?

  • ddid u get the option that was like 19 bucks for the wiring or did it come like that lol

  • Nice, mine should be coming in next Tuesday... Pretty stoked but also anxious about DOA or other problems. If I bought mine an without operating system installed should I boot it once without the Windows CD in, before I throw it in and install it?
