i think this alblum sounds a TON more unique then their last one. Their last one sounded like a bunch of kids trying to play thrash metal, now in fact (from somone who's been studying music theory since the 1st grade) their chord progressions/riffs, solos, choruses, and just general songs are more maturly written, I love how it blends the mainstream-type metal with older-style metal.

Black Tide is as Black Tide does. This style sounds fucking awesome. They're growing and maturing, and you can hear it in their music. They're taking a step in a new direction (may I mention is a smart one). I'm sure for every hater that is posting shit on here, Black Tide is going to have 10 more fans when the new CD comes out. Their old style was awesome too, don't get me wrong, but this is magical haha. And I like Gabe's voice now, it has power and agression. Long Live Black Tide!<3
